A - Pours a gorgeous clear, copper color with massive amounts of carbonation, and a large two fingered cream colored billowing, rocky head.
S - Pine, some grapefruit citrus, and mild caramel malt. The aroma isn't as big as this beer suggests, but still, better than most.
T - Massive amounts of graprefruit and pine with a small malt backbone. There's also a minty and tobacco presence. The tip of the tongue is hit immediately with a grapefruit/pine one/two and then gently subsides for a brief moment to let the malt somewhat come up for air. After that, there's a tidal wave of pine and grapefruit bitterness that comes crashing in on the palette and rides it "past" the end. After this beer goes down, the throat is warmed by the alcohol and the mouth covered with a slick coating of bitter tropical fruit that sits, and sits, and sits, reminding you of the hoppy wave the jjust slapped you. It's not for the faint of heart and people who aren't hop addicts probably won't appreciate this beer so much.
M - Heavier side of medium body, and gentle carbonation on the tongue.
D - Very good.
This is a totally UN-balanced beer and is definitely geared towards the hop heads. Personally, I really like this brew and it's really nice to see something finally come off the East Coast that rivals the hop bitterness of a West Coast IPA. Very nice job!

Pour is a nice deep amber orange. Dense tan head, but minimal. Fading quickly.
Nose is modest with some soft spice, orange, and a little hop. Nothing to massive here.
Taste is bursting with orange at first, followed quickly by absurdly dry and bitter hops. Lacking a bit in the depth department here. Again, a little hint of spice. Little sweet at the end too, almost a touch of maple or sweetened condensed milk.
Feel is just too thin. Leaves a little coating in your mouth, but the sip just feels hollow.
Big beer, but just not really well balanced. Juice is lost, hops are too big without the complexity to make it interesting. Mouth feel is the biggest let down. Oh well. On to another one...
