I remember when this was just a dive liquor joint that was lucky to carry Sam Adams. My visit tonight was a fantastic 180 degree change.
Quality: The place still looks like a dive liquor joint but don't be afraid. The place is mostly liquor and wine but there are several coolers loaded with good beer and a dedicated aisle.
Service: The cashier was friendly but there isn't much else to say. Oh yeah, we did talk about some of the Great Lakes seasonals, specifically those that he liked.
Selection: Pretty nice selection, I am happy to say. The whole line-up of Great Lakes, including Moondog and Conway seasonals. Bells, Founders, Bear Republic, Rodenbach, Urthel, Stone, I'm getting tired just typing the list out. The prices are a tad bit higher but there isn't anything else around so I'll pay it. I ended up with a sixpack of Burning River (it came down to that or Edmund Fitzgerald).

I finally found a carryout in the toledo, area that carries zombie dust and other 3 floyds, beer.
Very good people to deal with. They will even put a 6pk aside for me. Great customer service. Found my connection! I call them every Friday. Once I was outoif town and they had one waiting for me when I got back. And its,on my side of town. Don't have to drive all over toledo to get my favorite beer.

Stopped here on a whim while on an Ohio buying trip. The selection was decent but fairly pedestrian. It seemed a tad bit over secured for the area but I dont know the section of town nor its quality. Nobody offered me help even after wandering the aisles for some time but when I couldn't find what I was looking for they did seem knowledgeable and gave me a business card to call the next time I was headed to Ohio and they'd get what I was looking for. Will try this in a few months and if all goes well my opinion will Improve greatly.

Like any place on Navarre, I suspect, this place evokes a sort of nervousness upon seeing it. Going inside doesn't make the feeling go away completely, but it eases it a little. Like any place on the East Side/Oregon, it's mostly a liquor store, and mostly the cheaper stuff with some mid-level stuff mixed in. The beer selection is pretty good for craft but much the same can be said of it. It's a fairly even mix of good stuff and BMC, though overall I'd say craft has more representation. All the major good brands are here as well as the locals. Service is pretty good; nobody's looking for customers, though I get a greeting here and there, and there's one or two who usually like to talk beer.

This place was in the sama plaza as the hotel we stayed in post Cleveland and on the way to Indiana. They have a huge room with cases of BMC type stuff, they have a huge selection of smoking products and assorted stuff, everything from tobacco to roll your own to hookas, and thankfully they have a decent but not amazing selection of BA worthy beers.
Bells and Great lakes but no Three Floyds.... Yawn...Bottom line you will be able to get plenty of very respectable and worthy beer to drink, but do not expect anything real exciting...guy behind the counter says they rarely see anything from FFF in Ohio....We were excited to get to Indiana for obvious reason...
Also they must have a major theft problem/attract a rough crowd, cuz this placed seemed to be seriously wired up with video cameras and a mess of monitors behind the counter.

Nice to have something like this place on the east side. Great selection and they get more and more every time you go in. The store is located in the same area as the Holiday Inn on Navarre Ave. near where Misscue used to be.
This has been the liquor store in Oregon for many years. It was recently bought out and this is a good thing for all of us. The standard imports are there (Chimay, Lindemann's, Sam Smith's, etc.) and the US selection is great. Just about everything you could find at Anderson's or Joseph's is here.
Service staff, while not completely knowledgeable (with beer geeks like us I rarely need help from the store patrons anyway) they are very eager to please and happy you're there.
