Notes:
A fairly true to form Pilsner that’s spent ample time riding the tanks in our brewery. This seance slammer is pure, crisp golden magic. At 5.7% ABV, Ouija Pilz, will summon your spirits and exercise your demons all at the same time.

notes from 10/21.
Poured from growler into a pilsner glass. Pours a solid gold color with a nice head.
There is good balance to the aromas of crackers, grains, and noble hops.
Lighter bodied, but with a very good feel and notes of crackers and noble hops.
A very good pilsner. Refreshing, but slightly bigger in a sense.

Served in a tumbler at Firkin.
Moving to the window-side taps at Solidarity for some Half Acre pilsnerian goodness. It pours a clear pale straw topped by a couple o' fingers of light cream-white foam. The nose comprises plenty of grass, some wheat, and a light bit of flowers. The taste brings in more of the same, the grassiness still in full force. The body is a hefty-leaning light, with a light moderate carbonation and a decidedly crisp finish. Overall, a nice little pils, nothing outstanding, but a decently refreshing brew.

Growler provided by Chris (spycow). Served in a Hill Farmstead tulip.
A - Adequate white foam settles to a partial cap, thicker collar, and spotty lacework. Mostly transparent golden body.
S - Lots of noble hops here, there's an intensely grassy vibe with perhaps even a touch of cucumber skin to it, as well as a hint of spicy and earthy flavors. Malt character is fairly neutral, with a low level of sweetness and a hefty dose of toasted grains instead.
T - The taste has a bit more sweet malt flavors to it, but again the palate is dominated by herbal, grassy, and spicy hops flavors, as well as some surprisingly intense bitterness in the finish.
M - Pleasant active carbonation, medium body, and a clean and reasonably dry finish. Smooth texture before yielding to a bit of resinous hop oil.
D - I appreciate this doesn't have the fruity or buttery flavors I often get from Czech Pilseners. However, the hop bitterness seems excessive for the style and I could have stood for a tiny bit more sweetness. Probably more of a summer beer, and probably only for a select audience.

Poured from a 64oz growler into two pint glasses. Thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist!
A: Pours with typical Pils color and clarity. Light straw yellow with ample carbonation. 1 finger of bright white foam clings to the top for quite a while but leaves just a few traces of lace behind.
S: Lemon-y noble hops dominate with snatches of clean & toasty malt.
T: Exactly as above. Very clean and tidy flavors.
M: A brief session of lager smoothness that quickly turns hoppy and spicy on the tongue. Prickly and nice.
O: Another enjoyable Pils from HA. They should try bringing this one out again next spring/early summer.
