Notes:
We've brewed a variant of Double Daisy Cutter we're calling Galactic Double Daisy Cutter. This version highlights Galaxy hops, a bruiser grown in Australia specifically to make palates numb. This beer insisted on being a beast. Uber-hazy and jam packed with the sticky, Galaxy hops, this beer isn't for the faint of heart.
As if pulled from the core of a distant, inhospitable planet, The Galactic Double Daisy is juicy and dank, rough and tumble and beautifully ugly. Strap on your boots and pull down some of the ooze, Galactic Double Daisy is here.

22oz bottle poured into my Half Acre pint glass...

Pours an incredibly thick and hazy pale orange with just a one finger light tan head that leaves a bit of lacing behind...

Smells wonderfully of sweet and juicy tropical fruit, pineapple and mango come to mind. Juicy, I know juicy is not a smell, but it just smells, well, juicy...

Tastes as the smell led on, juicy and fruity, tropical and sweet up front. After a few sips the lingering bitterness of the hops creeps from the background to the forefront. Slightly floral and earthy after the sweetness fades, finishes with a bitter hop bite...

Almost full bodied with a creamy and smooth fell, carbonation feels a little light. Sticky and resinous finish, very good...

Would love if this one was canned along side the regular Daisy Cutter...

A - A nice orange, golden body with 6 or 7 "strands" of bubbly carbonation rising to the top. Pours a nice head, but dissipates quite quickly and almost no retention. A finished glass leaves a nice, spotty lacing.

S - Sweet and earthy aromas. Lots of hops, and light hints of banana.

T - Huge amounts of bitter hops, but what else would you expect from a DIPA jammed packed with Galaxy hops? A nice caramelly body with a strangely roasty coffee finish.

M - Decent amount of carbonation. Moderate alcohol burn on the throat, also.

O - This is a really tasty DIPA. Daisy Cutter is a favorite go-to IPA, but this DIPA version gives it a lot more personality and flavor. Not sure if it's worth $10/bottle, but I'd recommend it to anyone who's an IPA fan. Cheers.

a: brassy golden orange. clear. decent white head/lace.
s: resiny, dank w/fruity aromas of berries, citrus, tropical fruit.
t: lightly sweet malt and a significant but not astringent or overpowering bitterness leads to a drying finish. touch of aspirin at the end.
m: medium body. nicely carbonated.
o: glad to try this uber fresh.

A- Copper orange color, transparent, thin head
S- Honestly I get the dank smells, but this smelled strongly of onion and garlic
T- Very floral, piney, dank, subtle malt sweetness, garlicy/oniony in the background
M- Chewy, bubbly
O- I was very disappointed by this brew, I would much prefer regular Daisy Cutter to this beer. I might just not be a fan of galaxy hops, it doesn't really compare to citra hops for me.

Consumed fresh on bottle release day.

A - pours a clear, light orange with a standard head. Some lace. Light bubbles.

S - galaxy hops which provide passion fruit and a restrained dankness. There is also a mild orange and pineapple note at times. Nice, soft malt note too.

T - follows the aroma. The passion fruit flavor is well defined and quite tasty. Hints of citrus. Mild sweetness.

M - light-medium body. Creamy carbonation. Medium bitterness with a long and pleasant sustain. Slightly tangy.

O - I'm a sucker for Galaxy hops. More breweries should use them. This is a great beer that most hop heads should enjoy.

Pours a very hazy amber with a thin white head. Very nice smell, floral with sweet malt and pine. Taste is great, the malt body allows the abundant galaxy hops to flex their muscles. Grassy, spicy, and piney in the finish, the sweetness starts up front almost preparing you for the hop explosion to come. Overall a good afterwork beer!

Can into a pint glass

A: cloudier then a stormy day with dark almost like light tree bark uneven distribution throughout but looks good

S: lots of hops and tropical friut up front there are also hints of grass

T:lots of galactic hops with the tropical fruit flavor but it is well balanced with the bitterness and malt

M:smooth and easy to drink considering I would classify it as thick and heavy.

O: this is a really solid double pale ale, I really like it and would buy again but not the best ever.
