Notes:
We've brewed a variant of Double Daisy Cutter we're calling Galactic Double Daisy Cutter. This version highlights Galaxy hops, a bruiser grown in Australia specifically to make palates numb. This beer insisted on being a beast. Uber-hazy and jam packed with the sticky, Galaxy hops, this beer isn't for the faint of heart.
As if pulled from the core of a distant, inhospitable planet, The Galactic Double Daisy is juicy and dank, rough and tumble and beautifully ugly. Strap on your boots and pull down some of the ooze, Galactic Double Daisy is here.

Bought a bottle for $7 at the Local 44 bottle shop during Philly beer week. Poured into a snifter. Nice white 2-finger head with clear light copper color. Smells of piney & citrus hops. A bit resiney. Some melon, orange peel, maybe a little white wine qualities in the nose. Hop forward taste with ample bitterness and piney/citrus flavors. Reminds me of Union Jack. Feels light and extremely drinkable. An all around excellent beer. This brewery is quickly going on my breweries to keep an eye out for and one I will def drink from again.

22oz bomber courtesy of Dustin; shared with Evan F today 6/8/2013.
Aroma: Lots of fresh grapefruit up front for sure. A little bit of cat piss and floral notes, a bit of the toffee and caramel, but mostly the grapefruit. Smelled fantastic for sure. (4.75)
Colour: A nice darker amber body, with a solid 1cm white head that stuck around for a bit. Looked well carbonated, a bit of lacing but not much. Very nice looking, just above average really. (4)
Flavour: Its odd that this one doesn't follow the nose so much. A good bit of floral hoppiness but I didn't get a whole lot of grapefruit like in the smell. Easy to drink, mellow and rather tasty. But after that nose, I couldn't help but feel a little bit let down. First world problems. (4)
Mouthfeel: Quite a bit resinous, medium bodied beer that's well carbonated. Aftertaste is mostly floral, earthy bitterness combined with some toffee sweetness. Very interesting and definitely hides the 8% ABV quite well. Easy to drink and a rather refreshing beer that doesn't leave much of a dry finish. (4.25)
Overall: Tasty, not sure I'd line up at Half-Acre for this one, but its definitely a great beer. Great nose, great mouthfeel, but the flavour is a little bit incongruent, but not necessarily in a bad way. (4.25)

Big thanks to wyatt13 for this bottle! Split with a friend. Poured into a tulip.
Pours a cloudy dark amber/orange with a rocky white head on top. Citrus notes in the aroma. Tropical mango, pineapple, tangerine. This one is dank for sure. I dig it.
Good feel. No complaints on the carbonation. Big bittering hops right at the onset, Grapefruit, mango, bitter finish. Some mild sweetness noted, but this one leans more to the bitter side of the spectrum.
Great beer. I think I prefer the regular Double Daisy as it's a bit more sweet, but this one would never be turned down.
