Appearance: Poured with a two-finger, firm foam head that dissipated slowly. The beer is a cloudy golden orange.

Aroma: Piney hops but not overwhelming. Some malt was evident as the beer warmed up.

Taste: Mostly hops but not a persistent bitterness so that some malt came through. A slight bitterness lingers.

Mouthfeel: This is a crisp beer with a medium-full body. It has a full level of carbonation.

Overall: As a disclaimer, I am still learning to appreciate this style. This beer goes well with food as it is not too strong, and the hoppiness is not at all overwhelming.

Pours amber with a you h of orange with a frothy 2 finger head that retains nicely.

Nose is floral hops with a slight spice and a light sweet malty background is present.

Some of the floral aromas pull through into the taste. Dominate hop flavors but bitterness is not overdone. Hops are balanced nicely with the light sweet malty body. Slightly bitter finish.

Lots of carbonation, this with the light malty sweetness makes it very refreshing. Slight oily finish.

Overall this is a great pale ale, very drinkable

Can Poured into imperial pint glass.

A Hazy orange. Two inches of foam that fades away slowly.

S Citrus fruit. Orange and lemon peel. Sweet malt. Dandelion. Bitter hops jump out upon a deeper smell. Very nice.

T Follows the smell. Fruity up front. A nice sweet malt balance and then the piney, flowery, hoppy bitterness follows. Bitterness remains in the aftertaste.

M Medium, but more-so than I expected due to the malts. Foamy mouthfeel with a little bit of carbonation. Finishes reel smooth.

O Excellent. I had heard good things and mostly they were on the money. Good citrus and floral punch, but the sweetness and maltyness surprised me. A nice surprise it was. Top notch for the style. Maybe the perfect beer to have while lounging in the sun.

16 oz can in a standard pint glass, from the CANquester himself, thanks Woody.
Orange-gold color, soapy foam with good looking lace. Head, or at least a thin cap, lasted for the whole time. Liquid started a bit hazed, then cleared up (too cold maybe).
Lots of hoppy citrus and pine in the nose. Big hop flavor kick, grapefruit and other citrus to start, more pine resin at the end. Despite being super bitter, was still smooth, and not overpowering. Enough malt base, toasted grain, biscuity, to keep it balanced.
Dry finish, good carbonation level, lots of flavor.
A great APA, pushing towards and IPA (for what I am used to). Happy I got one of these.

Note to Self: Ranked #18 American Pale Ale when I tried it.
And my personal #2 American Pale Ale.

16 oz can from Tommyguz poured into a Barrelworks Teku

Appearance: Pours a cloudy dark copper color with a thick offwhite head

Smell: Once warmed, the beer has a very pungent smell for it's 5.2 abv. Immediate burst of fresh cut grass with some sweetness. Maybe a little tropical fruits, but the grass dominates.

Taste: Immediate taste of grass as well, with a very consistent taste from start to finish. Not much malt to speak of, just a burst of nice hops. Nice burst of flavor, very solid.

Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is a bit thin for what I would like in a pale ale, but the carbonation is spot on. Very nice overall.

overall: Really good beer. From the moment you open, it is exactly what you expect from the nose, which is a good thing. I would love to have it again, but it didn't knock me off my feet.

Big thanks to cocoapuph for throwing this in as an extra - I've been wanting it for quite a while, so I'm happy to finally try it. Daisy Cutter pours a cloudy and semi-translucent golden color that isn't quite yellow and isn't quite amber. The clumpy, white head fades rather quick, although it does leave behind some chunky webbing.

Aaaand, wow. The first whiff of Daisy Cutter is so raw and pure; an abundance of hops jump out and smack your nose silly. Grassy, wet, leafy, and adhering to a light bit of spice on the tail end. The hops just smell so "fresh", it would be easy to mistake this for a wet-hopped beer. After some time, Daisy Cutter starts smelling like a freshly cut lawn. The finish shows some faint mango peel, lightly tropical and sweet.

I can't think of a better word to describe the flavor profile than "bright". Each sip tastes very bright and vibrant, bursting with more fresh-cut grass, wet florals, leaves, and mild peppery hop spice. Fruit is a bit more pronounced on the palate (or perhaps my palate is just better at picking those things up than my nose) with bouts of bitter citrus peels and mango skins. This is a damn good pale ale.

Daisy Cutter isn't crazy bitter; after all, you really wouldn't expect extreme bitterness from a pale ale, would you? There is a nice, solid bitterness, however, that stings the back of the tongue and gives the hop-heads the jolt they're looking for. The body is pretty light, sitting around thin-medium, with quite a bit of carbonation, leaving a crisp and sharp mouth feel that helps to accentuate the flavors.

Highly drinkable, tasty, and extremely flavorful pale ale. What else can you say? If this were available near me, it would definitely be one of my "go-to" beers, given the fact that it drinks as easy as water and it's only 5.2% ABV. Plus, I love beers that come in 16 oz. cans. If you're a pale ale fan, get you some Daisy Cutter right away.
