Nose feels cactus juice as can be found at LIDL. The mouth is in the same direction but always with that touch of corn syrup makes the drink invading terribly poor. The taste of Witbier is almost nonexistent, and the taste of beer. It is also sickening fast, that after a few sips.

On tap into a Blanche des Neiges weissbier glass in the Delirium cafe. Reviewed from notes.
A: One finger head of barley any cream, good thickness, and pretty good retention. A bile green murky colour (I shit ye not). Certainly an exciting appearance.
Sm: More artifical lime citrus ester than cactus, but some cactus does pull through. I know because I've eaten cacti before.
T: Artificial lime mixed with a true lime climax and a sweet faux cactus note. The barley body nicely sustains the hops. Balanced pretty well and built well for the style (is cactus a vegetable?). I wish it were less artificial. Fairly complex, but more notable for its attempt at novelty than anything else.
Mf: Smooth and wet, complementing the flavour., or at least the general tone of the beer.
Dr: Easy enough to drink, high price, artificial, and below average quality - especially for the brewery.

On tap @ Delirium Taphouse
A: Green pear color and relatively hazy. Two fingers of fine white foam falls to a sheet of the same. Spotty lacing.
S: Soapy, floral, citrusy (lime). Really refreshing nose here, light and fun. Although simple, it hits the right notes with good intensity.
T: Follows smell. Sweet lime flavors, some floral notes (not sure, just general blossoming tones). A little sweeter than I had anticipated and I was surprised to have no vegetal flavors in this one. Very nice.
M: Medium to syrupy with fine pinching carbonation. Finishes with a slickness similar to the slime from actually eating canned cactus - although not particularly appealing, definitely cool for the beer.
O: I thought this was a really fun beer. Easy to drink and low in ABV made this beer fun to experience and easy to appreciate. This would hit the spot on a really warm day in the summer.

Think sweetened lime beer and you'll have a sense of the Floris Cactus beer. It is far better than I expected, but it is quite sweet with a sour tang that makes it very interesting.
After trying it at the Delirium Cafe, I found it impossible to find again. Not a typical beer per se, but worth trying if you find yourself in Brussels. It's not a lambic, but more like a malted alcoholic beverage that an American macro might offer. That said, it's different and worthy of a try.
