Has this at the delerium tremens in Brussels.

This beer poured a medium yellow color with moderate cloudiness and a robust head that lasted for about 8-10 minutes. The head laced the sides of the glass as it was consumed.

The bouquet is heavy on the fruit, this bottle was not subtle. These was a light malty component as well as a light yeasty component to the nose.

The taste was big on the sweet fruit, although I must admit, rather balanced in terms of the yeast and malt.

The mouthfeel was great on this beer as the body made it rather refreshing. This is a very drinkable beer, one that should be loved b the gals!

Had at the Brickskeller in DC

Poured a very clear orange/red color. Could smell the passion fruit as soon as it was poured. Imagine that… A passion fruit beer that smells and tastes like passion fruit. Not a whole lot else going on here, but you get the passion fruit without a doubt. More like a syrupy fruit punch than a beer. Good for what it is.

Best before jan '06. Poors in very fine leaving a huge head that stay's very well. Beer has a golden color and is not totaly clear but with a quiet strong haze.
Nose is just passionfruit and no arome you get normaly in your beer. Litle sourness and litle spice complete the "chemic" nose.
Taste is nothing to write about either: sour, sweet and this chemical passion taste again. No way I will ever drink a floris fruitbeer again!

Smells like Passiona (soft drink). Sweet passionfruit flavour. Some sourness, but not necesarily in a good way. More sourness than many Floris beers, but i just don't think passionfruit works in beer. A bit cloying in the end aswell, and also a bit too sticky fro my liking, i really don't like these Floris beers.

Semi-cloudy, light gold body with a chalk cream head, fine in bubble consistency. Smells like real passion fruit! A noticeable light hop background as well.

Taste is indeed sweet passionfruit, tangy and candylike. Sweetness runs from start to finish and continues after. Reminds alot of guava paste and a little of Cuba. Mouthfeel is light and tingly, medium body.

A cool beer, but I couldn't imagine having more than one of these for its sweetness I think.

Wow. Incredibly sweet with a tart finish. Syrupy and stinging on the mouth. I can feel it burning its way down into my belly, sticking to my insides. Brrr. This stuff is plain uncomfortable to drink. It honestly seems like it needs to be cut with water or soda.

Looks like a yellow-gold pilsner, plenty of bubbles working their way through. Slight head that settles to a film. Good lacing. Just about fools you into thinking its a beer. Smells quite sweet and clearly of passion fruit, which I suppose is what it set out to do.

Strikes me as an extreme style, a little too out there for my taste. I betcha though it would be good for cooking as a base for making a sauce for chicken wings. I can't finish it, so maybe I'll save it to do just that. I sure as heck can't drink it. Ick.

Golden pour. Fruity, sweet nose. First sip was sweet, mostly sugar, off the top. Bursting with mango & peach flavors. Some tartness towards the end and a zing of lemon-drop sweet n' sour to finish it off. Overall, the fruitiness was overpowered by the outright sweetness and sugary nature of this beer. It's too much like a bad wine cooler or something.

Wow. I've had the Floris Fraises, Chocolat, and Apple before. This one might be my favorite of them so far. If you've ever had Melbourn Bros Apricot, this kind of reminds me of that in terms of taste. Very spritzy -- like carbonated pineapple juice with a zest of lemon. Almost no head when I poured it, but you certainly don't need head on this beer to catch a good aroma; it's exceptionally strong. I can see how a lot of people might classify this as "not a beer" or something to that effect since it's got a very low alcohol content and very little traditional malt or hop flavor. But beer it is -- and a unique one at that. Really, I guess the goal of a fruit-flavored beer should be to taste like fruit. And this does it pretty perfectly. If you enjoy any beers or other beverages with a strong fruit flavor or a zesty, somewhat tart finish, this is for you.

Sweet and fruity, sweet and fruity, sweet and fruity. This beer pours very pale; as light as white grape juice. Plenty of carbonation but too syrupy to hold the head for very long. The aroma is of sweet over-ripe passion fruit and cane sugar. No hops or grain odor here. The taste is light, crisp, and sweet. This could be the original beer-cooler/spritzer. The mouthfeel crisp and fruity like fruit juice with soda water.
If you are a lover of cask conditioned ales then this is not a beer for you. I would call this a non-beer-drinker beer. Light, fresh, and very sweet with no flavor of grain or hops (makes one ask what's the point?).
This is another one of those beers that shows the amazing range of possibilities available in the world of beer. Especially Belgian beers; for better or worse.
