Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at CCB tasting room. Served in a pint glass.

A: Pours a not-quite-clear gold, with a 1 1/2 finger white head that lingers, and medium visible carbonation.

S: Tropical fruit, citrus, grassy, dank, and melon hops over a slight cracker malt.

T: Follows the nose, plus the appearance of pine flavors. But the tropical fruit, melon, and citrus rind is more forward than the nose would suggest. There is more malt in flavor than in the aroma, but still very hop forward for sure. Bitter in the finish, but it's not overdone.

M: Medium body, great carbonation sensation, minimal alcohol.

O: Very good - definitely recommended.

Clean, classic grapefruit hoppy IPA. Bold enough to call itself a double IPA if it so desired. A kick in the nose and a haze in the glass. For anyone that wants to kick up the Jai Alai a notch, this is the brew. Released as a special release on draft.
