Shared by Raffy I believe, thanks man. 4 oz. poured in an FFF Rastal on August 17th, 2012.

A - Medium amber-golden coloring, almost zero head, retention, or lacing.

S - Interesting fruitiness that I can only attribute to the curaçao peel. Beyond that I get some alcohol solvency, slight sweet malt, and residual sugars.

T - Plentiful, dominant bitterness at front to mid-palate, almost grapefruit and piney but with a smoother blend. At the back there is an offsetting sweetness of honey and brown sugar. Bitter, short aftertaste.

M - Medium body, appropriate carbonation, semi-dry finish. The peel seems to smooth out the body.

D - At the tasting I thought this was a strong ale of some sort that weirdly resembled a DIPA. I guess it is one afterall. Rating to that style suits it much better anyway.

A-dark cloudy amber with a light cream colored head

S-strong scent of sweet hops and malts. definitely smells more like a barley wine. strong scent

T-comes in with a very sweet flavor of hops and malts that slowly turns in to an old wood flavor. the after-taste is very fruity similar to fruit punch. they're all quite strong flavors.

M-low medium carbonation with a semi-dry finish

O-not CCB's best offering. I don't know why, but their 110k batches never impress me. This isn't a bad beer at all, but for a DIPA from the brewery, I expect a lot better. it's very sweet with some odd flavors reminiscent of a malt bomb. it's drinkable though I wish I had someone else here to share this one with.

Single finger off white head with excellent retention and scattered lacing on a murky copper with orange tones body. Aroma of fig, orange peal, apricot, bready malts, oak and alcohol. Flavor is very malty as expected with candied orange, decent amount of booze, wood, apricot, breads and lemon. Medium but chewy body and light to moderate carbonation. Better than the last batch bring a lot more drinkable and less boozy. I almost didn't get this one as I remember the last being a drain pour, rare for cigar city. This one is much better.

This is such a unique beer! You can taste the Orange Blossom honey in the brew as well as the Spanish Cedar blending with the original IPA. A truly unique Florida experience! I didn't know they had it in a bottle, I have only had this wonderful concoction on tap.
