Poured from tap into pint at yard house in palm beach gardens fl. Pours a super hazy golden wheat color with a finger of head. Very mild aroma of hefe fruity meets flowers. Very delicate flavor...vanilla and citrus with a hint of spice. Really super smooth and refreshing. Great light session hefe as they can get overwhelming but this is great. Nice brew.

On tap I love everything about this beer. I especially enjoyed the mouthfeel and the way it just settles over your tongue and slowly enlivens various taste buds.
Despite the can-craze this beer (not unlike Avery's White Rascal) is about a full point lower. Obviously everything is better on tap but I just don't think I'm buying into this can thing. Maybe others are different but I still feel like there's a hint of metal in the taste no matter what they tell me. Even with that I still love this brew.

I had this on-tap while I was in Key West. Served in a standard pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with an amber hue. There is a finger of white head that leaves a layer on top of the pour.
Smell: Slightly sweet with a very mild grain note. There are very mild fruit and spice notes.
Rather mild.
Taste: This is a very light beer. Somewhat muddled spice notes with a hint of citrus fruit. Lots of light grain with a crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with foamy carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: This one is light and summer, but not very interesting. I might have another depending on the situation.

A - Cloudy straw colored pour. White foam on top lingers. Hazy and some clingy lacing.
S - Smells of fresh grain, lemongrass, and a light hoppy scent.
T - Light flavors of grain and a tartness of lemon and lime. Refreshing witboer that is nice on those hot floridian nights.
M - Easy drinking, thirst quenching beer. Light feel with a bit of a grainy grit to it.
O - Not exciting, but a solid enough witbier to be enjoyed. Some stronger lemon flavor would help this.

Light hazy yellow, extremely yellow. Very light, totally white head.
Smell is very clean and full of wheat and yeast.
This is the most low key Cigar City beer I have ever had, and I like it. Very much a classic white wheat ale. Hops are just a whisper. Tastes like some bitter orange peel with slight lemony tartness. Light bitterness in the finish.
Feels wet and dusty. Light tingle.

20 oz on tap, straw yellow clear like a light lager but damn is the look misleading! Candy sweet funky yeast and pale malt steal the nose, wow! This is a great smelling brew! Taste follows the nose - orange peel, clove, light maltiness, candy sweet yeast funk, light citric hop bite at the end. Carbonation is beautiful & so is this brew!

On tap at CCB
A-Pours a semi hazy straw yellow with a one finger white head that has good retention that leaves decent amounts of lace.
S-Citrus and wheat are all that I am picking up. Its ok, nothing that really rocks my world.
T-Follows the nose with wheat and citrus hops leading the way with a touch of some kind of spice that I can't put my finger on. Once again, its ok, but doesn't rock my world.
M-Light bodied and crisp with a dry finish.
O-This one was ok, but nothing I'd seek out again. Wish I could give this one a 3.25 overall, but I can't...so I'll give it a 3.5.

I had this at the Kickbacks Cigar City/St Somewhere dinner. I'm reviewing this by memory on this I had this at the Kickbacks Cigar City/St Somewhere dinner. I have had most of CC's regular beers but I have not tried this yet. not a fan of this style but this was atleast well done. spice and citrus and decent hop presence made this a decent wit.

Poured a hazy golden color with a big white head that fades fast but leaves nice lacing.
The aroma has a touch of coriander and citrus peel on a wheat malt backbone.
Slight sweet on the front from wheat and toasty edges, citrus on the finish with a lemony and orange zest and spicy coriander.
Nice balance, nice crisp body, and easy to drink.

A-golden slighty cloudy yellow. thin white head
S-good and spicy taste of fresh wheats and bananas. faint scent but decent
T-comes in with an aged taste of tobacco leaves, spices, wheats, and a lot of bananas. this taste lasts awhile along with some alcohol bite which is odd considering the ABV. not a clean beer.
M-medium and creamy carbonation with a dry finish
O-i always expect a lot from CCB so this beer lets me down. its fairly harsh for a witbier. it actually reminds me of the harshness of many wits from Belgium. this style should the kind you want to drink large amounts of all night long, but this just isn't the case here.

A: quarter finger head with a murky straw color.
S: sweet lemon citrus. fairly aromatic.
T: more lemon up front with a spicey/peppery finish
M: crisp, refreshing. Light to medium body but more than I expected. Semi dry finish.
Overall: Very nice beer for the Florida heat. The peppery notes add flavor without taking away from the refreshing nature of the beer.

Had this on-tap at CCB, poured into a pint glass.
A: looked exactly like pineapple juice with a particular and intriguing yellow color. Small head that managed to stay on for a while. Little to no lacing.
S: a bit mute on the nose, some sweet scents along with citrus aromas.
T: followed the nose with emphasis on the citrus (lots of orange), some lemon and strong wheat presence.
M: medium body, very refreshing.
O: an excellent choice for hot summer days, this is a very refreshing and good tasting beer.

I had this one on tap at Cigar City.
A: Mildly cloudy, light mustard yellow, with about a half finger or so head that stayed at least a bubble formation throughout the session.
S: Straight up orange peel and coriander. Pretty intense!
T: I got a smooth, honey-infused taste (along with the other ingredients I mentioned on the nose), with a very tropical flair from the fruit.
M: Mild lacing, and very organic fruit sweetness that wasn't cloying in any way. My wife said it best: "It was like biting into a Florida orange." Minimal lacing.
O: Awesome stuff, and if I lived in Tampa, I'd pick up growlers of this stuff all the time.

Poured on-tap at the Cigar City Brewing tasting room in Tampa. The beer was served in a pint glass, and it poured a slightly hazy, pale gold color with no head. The nose is very muted, with floral (juniper?) smells, and very light spicing. The beer is light and smooth, with flavors of slight sour citrus and a smooth, bready spicing. Light in mouth, this beer has an aftertaste that is mostly coriander spicing. The finish is minimal and quick, making an easy drinker.

On-tap at the tasting room. I wonder how long this brew will keep the name 'Florida Cracker' before someone gets up in arms over it.
A - The brew pours a hazy banana-yellow hue, and is capped with a moderate dollop of white froth that deposits a fair amount of lace upon the glass.
S - The nose is fairly dry and somewhat spicy, with suggestions of white pepper and clove, as well as some grassy notes.
T - This is just a nice beer, all-around, and perfect for the summer in Florida. Pale and mineral notes comingle with zesty yeast-imparted notes of pepper and clove. There is some dry lemon zest and some herbal-earthy continental hop towards the finish. It is more spicy and less fruity, on the whole, but it is quite well-balanced and certainly replete with nuance.
M - The feel is nice and refreshing, with soft carbonation; on the light side of medium-bodied.
O - Great summer beer, no doubt.

The comparison to Blue Moon is not possible to avoid. Cracker White is a bit lighter and more unique than a Moon. Tried it out of the can and then tried it poured ice cold into a pilsner glass with a slice of organic orange. It's nothing straight out of the can. However, poured over the orange slice and ice cold, it beats a Moon hands down. The color meshes with the orange in the glass. Overall, this is a very, very enjoyable ale here in the Northeast Florida heat and we'll be buying it on a regular basis.

Poured this one aggressively so got a 3 finger head which fell to a half inch quickly then fell to ring. Lots of carbonation in this one. Has a yellowish color. Light lacing.
The coriander dominates the nose with a slight sour finish.
Has a coriander taste with a slight lemon bitter.
The mouthfeel is light.
Overall I enjoyed this offering. Very refreshing in Georgia heat. Not one of my favorite styles but can see this one in the Spring/Summer rotation.

Can into 7venth Sun tulip
Canned on 2/20/13
Thanks to LiquidDegenerate for this
Pour: Hazy straw with lively bubbles rising. There was a fluffy 2 finger head that receded quickly.
Smell: Wheat, touch of orange, lemon, coriander and some vanilla.
Taste: Banana, cracker, doughy, lemon, some orange and some spice (pepper?). Quite sweet on the palate initially and finishes with that yeast quality.
Mouthfeel: This is unbelievably easy to drink and would be a spectacular hot summer drinking beer. It has a light body and prickly carbonation yet at the same time is creamy. Alcohol is undistinguishable.
Overall: Though witbier is not my favorite style this one is surprisingly refreshing and enjoyable.

Remember, kids, if it's in a can, pour 2/3rds into your glass, swirl the can vigorously to stir up the yeast that settles at the bottom THEN pour the rest. You'll be rewarded with a nicely cloudy beer and a large head.
A: Properly poured so it has a pale gold, cloudy look about it, starting with a big billowy head, but it quickly dissipates and leaves very, very little lacing.
S: Bananas, clove, a touch of red apple and spice, a twinge of malt, a tiny hit of black pepper, maybe a hint of a farmhouse funk from the yeast. More fragrant than I expected, but not blowing me away.
T: All of the above, with a clean lemony flavor added, very dry crackery malts and a touch of clove at the end to finish. But it's really rather subtle.
M: Far too zippy for me, I like a Belgian ale that feels more rich and velvety, this seemed too highly carbonated for my tastes.
O: A standard because it's always fresh in Florida, a great beer to get into Belgian styles, but nothing groundbreaking.

Cigar City Florida Cracker
Poured from a 12 oz can into a shaker pint glass. Served chilled...
A) A golden brew with a bit of haze to it. Lots of bubble trails. Nearly two fingers of white foam reached the top of the pint. This settled quickly.
S) Pale malt, yeast, coriander, lemon zest, and a little spice that had me thinking black pepper.
T) Faint wheat, citrus flavors of orange peel and a little lemon too. The yeast gives it a little farmhouse funk. Nice spices as well.
M) Medium to lighter medium. This is well carbonated. Crisp and highly refreshing. Finishes dry with a nice aftertaste.
O) This was pretty darn good. Definitely a great option on a warm day. It's also nice that it's in cans. I'd buy some if it were in Wisconsin, but it's not. Oh well....

Appearance - Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white 2 finger head. Decent retention, leaving small islands of microbubbles on the surface, and a ring around the edge. Spotty lacing with little stick.
Smell - Strong yeasty sourness with bright citrus tones; lemony. Lesser hints of orange.
Taste - Moderate lemon sourness and yeast funk hit upfront. Very subtle wheat and banana character once the beer warms. Sweet and bright. Touches on orange peel and slight grassy bitterness near the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with lively, somewhat bitey carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy. Semi-dry finish. Maybe the best bodied witbier I've come across thus far.
Overall - Great witbier all-around. It doesn't kill me that this beer isn't on shelves in California, but it'd be a welcome addition if it were.

Had this before at a wedding in FL. It was nice there. Pours a near excellent clarity golden with a solid central dome of bone white foam, unimpressive for the style. Smells of flowers, grass, some light lemon, a little bit of sweet dough and seeds of paradise. Flavor is nice and sweet with yeast overtures and some bits of coriander. Pretty one dimensional flavor, but refreshing nonetheless. Thin bodied for the style with hi carb and a wet finish. Meh.
