One of the lucky ones who got to try this seemingly limited release from CCB. Thanks guys! Wish you'd make more...
A: Crystal golden with a light beige head, nice retention, pretty.
S: Sweet, sharp cheese, malty, faint fruity hops and notes of raspberries hiding in the background.
T: Awesome pilsner, very earthy and refreshing. No "bite" to it. Yet not sweet...somewhere in between, which is what I love about a great pilsner. This is definitely one of the best I've had.
Value: All CCB beers I've tried so far are 'you get what you pay for' types. Not cheap, but they don't drink cheap either. A winner...

thanks to duff27 for gifting this beer to me after a recent trip down to florida! Thanks duff!
poured into New belgiam globe glass.
Appearance: slightly hazy straw yellow bodied beer with a 2 fingers tall white head.
Smell: grainy and ceral like lager malts. Orange rinds and grass notes.
Taste: upfront you get grainy lager malts a touch of fruity yeast and a slight bitter kiss of grassy hops mixed with a touch of citris.
Mouthfeel: On the high end of light bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Crisp and refreshing drinkable beer.
Overall: better than your average pilsner! Nice hot weather beer to drink anytime! One of the better Pilsners that I have drank in a while.

A- Inch tall white fluffy head on a slightly cloudy light golden body. excellent head retention and spider lacing for the style.
S- Cereal grains with a touch of grassy hop aroma.
T- Initial grainy malt sweetness. Hop bitterness/flavor is there but I feel like they could have just amped it up half a notch to make this one stand out that much more. Leaves a bit of an adjunct-y (corn?) aftertaste but not as bad as most.
M- The mouthfeel is perhaps my favorite aspect of Patio Pils. Huge, full mouthfeel on this one. Medium carbonation.
D/O- An easy drinker for sure. Aftertaste is a tad distracting but I will say the second half of my pint went down faster than the first. Still would prefer a Prima Pils or Sunshine Pils...worth a try for Pilsner fans in general though.

A: single finger head on a murky bright golden body. Decent lacing.
S: lots of grains and pale malts with bready notes.
T: bready malt base with slightly bitter and fruity hops providing banana notes. Very herbal finish.
M: medium body and high carbonation.
Overall: very complex pils but not as refreshing or crisp as I like my pils but I think this was purposeful. Not a beer to drink often but definitely one to try.

A hot summer day with lots of yard work... a nice pils should take care of it. Thanks to elCharderino (Reddit) for this one. Bottled June 19th, 2012. Thank you CC for the date!!!
Pours a nice pasty white 1 finger fluffy head that fades at a med pace, a bit of lacing, over hazy golden tan colored beer.
Nose light toasty pilsner malts, a bit of wet straw and hay, a bit of an earthiness, with some light grassy herbal hops, a light noble hop like but more earthy than usual for noble, and hints of fruity lager aromas.
Taste starts with lots of malt flavors, sweeter than I expected, with lots of pilsner malts but not a lot of straw, a bit of dank wet hay, light cracked wheat, slightly creamy and viscousy, light crackery almost doughy like malts. Not quite what I expected and not much pilsner like. Hops come on a bit too strong too, with some earthy grassy hops, slightly herbal and even a bit spicy, and fairly bitter. It finishes dry but syrupy like, quite bitter, esp for a pilsner, with lingering spicy earthy hop flavors.
Mouth is med to a bit bigger bodied, decent carb.
Overall not quite what I was expecting. Way too much of everything for a pilsner IMO. I like a soft crisp pislner, with some noble hops, but this was more like a big golden double/imperial pilsner, with lots of sweet malts, very little toasty flavors, and strong hops that are a bit overpowering. However, it's still fairly tasty and drinkable, just not quite to style as I was expecting.
