650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Nice head on an orange body. Mostly clear and good lacing. Leggy as it swirls.
Smell - Grassy and herbal as most Lawson's IPAs tend to be. Much more grassy than others, even Jade. Grapefruit behind it and a slight grain.
Taste - Sweetness from the malt balances the grassy flavor very nicely. Enhances the citrus character. Interesting dichotomy to the hop flavors. Grassier in the finish and only slightly bitter.
Mouthfeel - Nice slick mouthfeel. Perfect amount of sweetness. Medium carbonation.
Overall - As always, a great IPA from Lawson's. Always an interesting hop profile. Never pure citrus or pine.

Reviewing from memory, have had this brew a few times. My twenty eighth brew reviewed from these guys. This beer is solid. I have not seen recently, may have been discontinued?

Picked up a four-pack at the Waitsfield location cooler 8-1-23 for $14.00. Canned 6-5-23; consumed first two for review 8-3-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured deep golden-orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is nice, full of light tropical fruit.
Taste is spot on with a light but substantial malt base that displays hopping that gives notes of kiwi of course, white wine, and lemon. Finishes with a touch of white pepper and gooseberry; 6/10 on my scale. Increasing my score to 4.5 after having the second can, so tasty!
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall this is an enjoyable down under DIPA!

On tap at Glory Beer Bar in Philly. I like this beer. Very drinkable at an 8.1% ABV. Reading the label indicates that there is no kiwi fruit used in making the beer. But the Aussie hops and the beer's name certainly lead me in that direction. 4.25
A - Pours a slightly cloudy amber orange. 4.0
S - Slightly sweet in the nose. Some kiwi-like aromas in the nose. 4.5
T - A nice resiny/piney hoppiness with some faintest kiwi tartness to make you think there are kiwi's used. 4.5
MF - Medium body. Hoppy but not particularly dry in the finish. High ABV clearly adds to the body. 4.25

16oz can served in a big snifter. Can is dated 05/??/23. I cannot read the middle two digits. Got this from @Roguer in a LIF associated with NBS BIF #17.
Pours a murky dark amber-orange with a smallish head that settles into a thin even dusting with a few big clumps drifting around. Smell is bubble gum and hay, maybe a little orange.
Taste is interesting. Bubble gum and lime, a ripe fruit vibe that almost hits tropical juice, deep bitterness on the finish. Bitterness builds with more sips, juiciness gets a bit more drowned out. Booziness is noticeable, but more as an afterthought.
Mouthfeel is medium and has a bit of the chalkiness I sometimes get from really hazy IPAs. Overall, this is a really nice beer, aroma is not bad but the rest of the beer totally outshines it.

Poured the color of Baltic amber with a tall manilla head that leaves sheets of lacing.
Aroma lost on my Covid affected nose.
The taste: the Nelson hops brought white grapes and mild stone fruit flavors, the Jade hops a more herbal taste, they worked well together and seemed to be balanced with the malt base which brought some sweetness to the party.
The feel went well with the opaque body; a little viscosity to promote sipping.
OA, very good beer but not sure I could drink more than one of these a day.
