Big thanks to Dat for hooking up the VT goodness (and the Lawson's glass to go along with this brew!). enjoyed from the lawson's sniftery tulip.
a - brew poured a really murky orange with a thin off white ipa head that fizzled away relatively quick. swirling the glass brought things back to life for a moment, but mostly there was a ring of foamy head on the surface of the glass with mild bubbling. lacing was spotty and stringy.
s - nice citric smell, not very in your face. some grapefruit, some mango, some peach even but far from sticky and sweaty and piney. crisp. nice, but not a hop extreme smell.
t - much like the nose, not a hop explosion but some strong bitterness on the finish. the hops are more bittering than piney. fruity flavoring with bitterness.
m - medium bodied. crisp and refreshing. bitter finish.
o - overall a nice offering from a brewery that makes incredible ipas. not their best, but good none-the-less and always nice to check out a new hop variety. i prefer more of a citric burst and dankness in my IPAs whereas this one has a really subtle and balanced hop flavoring with a decent slap of bitterness. the thing that stands out to me about this beer is its crispness. really like drinking fresh water from a stream.

22 oz bottle courtesy of Kyle. Thank you for sharing this!
Cloudy unfiltered golden yellow with some long lasting stickage and some stringy lace.
Earthy, green onions, lemon, and biscuit malts.
Interesting hop here: almost tastes old without being old. Muted green onion and vegetal notes, and a crisp bitterness at the finish that only lingers briefly.
Bubbles on the tongue, appropriate carbonation and medium bodied.
Another well executed Lawson's beer, even if the flavors don't fit my wheelhouse. The hop profile may turn some off, but there's no qc issues or any other major dings here.

22oz bomber, courtesy de @blackie as he travels the eastern seaboard in search of something that doesn't suck
Served in a hilliards can-pint, light golden straw body with a nice frothy head. Showcasing the NZ Jade hop - herbal, fresh citrus zest, peppercorn. From my limited exposure, Lawson's is making some of the best IPA's on the planet - this is a really nice showcase of a rather unusual hop that you definitely don't see too much of in the NW. The finish has a really light bitterness with a nice clean hop zest.

Bottle courtesy of Jeremy. Thanks!
A: Very cloudy straw color. There’s almost a film on this. Great legs, but this is ugly.
N: What. the. hell? Is this a bad bottle? Burnt onion powder and a flavor that the group described as stale, overcooked broccoli. Vegetal. The hops are, uh... More onion. Some citrus...I think?
T: Slightly better, but that’s not a sterling compliment. Earth, biscuit, pine, and a moderate spiciness. Onion power is less prevalent, but then all the sudden, oh, god, the sharpness. Please someone stop the astringency. Stop. Ugh.
M: Sticky. A good thing normally, but then it becomes the worst part of the beer because it cause the beer to stick to the palate and remind you of all the dry unpleasant flavors. Need water.
O: I don’t know if this is a bad bottle or what, but after seeing this was named after the daughter, I had to wonder if they don’t like their girl? Bad, bad, bad.

Appearance: Pours a very hazy golden honey color capped by a couple of inches of foam; excellent retention and a smattering of lace
Smell: A tropical fruit salad of an aroma, with ruby red grapefruit, mango and pineapple
Taste: The malt is unobtrusive here, except to the extent that it lays a sweet platform on which the hops can explode with tropical fruit flavor, with mango, ruby red grapefruit and pineapple flavor; the bitterness builds, after the swallow, adding a peppery, herbal character to the profile
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: This IPA showcases the Pacific Jade hops to their utmost; a delight for anyone who likes the style
Thanks, wildcats10, for the opportunity

Pours bright yellow/orange with a slight haze. 2 fingers of fluffy white head leaving excellent retention with some clumps of lacing down the glass.
Citrusy nose with some earthiness and spice character akin to what you'd expect from noble hops.
Lots of bright citrus flavor up front, more so than I would have guessed from the nose. Grapefruit and orange rind with just a touch of caramel malt. Finishes spicy with a little lingering citrus.
Shading toward medium bodied although lighter than the kiwi. Moderate carbonation and finishes fairly dry.
Nice well balanced beer as the combo of citrus with the spiciness on the back end is unique and pleasant. Just a shade below Kiwi, but would be glad to have this one again.

A: Pours a hazy medium golden yellow in color with some orange highlights and light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation near the surface. The beer has a two finger tall pillowy white head that slowly reduces to several small to medium sized patch of thicker larger bubbles, a very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer, and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of hops - some citrus/grapefruit and some spicy/black pepper with just a hint of earthiness.
T: Upfront there is a light amount of caramel malts but that is quickly dominated by a light to moderate amount of citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, and spicy/black pepper hops. Very light amounts of earthy hops are underlying the entire taste. Very light amounts of bitterness which fades quickly.
M: Slightly shy of medium bodied with slightly more than moderate amounts of carbonation. Hints of very light amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Extremely well balanced between the hops and the malts - the sweetness and the bitterness balance out and make this an extremely easy to drink and enjoyable brew. The alcohol is well hidden and the beer does a very nice job of highlighting the Pacific Jade hop.

Pours a translucent dark golden colour, and a bright white finger and a half of fluffy head. Dissipates leaving lots of spongy late behind.
The aroma was big on the tropical fruits. Sweet and fruity mango, papaya, slight pineapple, and touches of zesty citrus.
Quite similar to the aroma, there's plenty of mango, and other tropical fruitiness. Not much of the citrus, but maybe a sweet grapefruit and some pine. Bitterness was sharp and to the point.
Had a nice light creamy feel, medium body, slick, oily, lightly crisp carbonation.
Solid well above average IPA.
