A huge, rich, and strong stout brewed with a maple twist. Designed to keep you warm on sub-zero nights and for sipping with a fine meal or dessert.

A: Creamy, black pour. Head is dark brown with lasting retention and slight lacing

S: Maple brownie, almonds, roasted coffee, some smoke, leather, and wood contribute to the audacious aroma

T: Caramel, milk chocolate, molasses, hints of vanilla, and a strong presence of maple that’s not too cloying. This is quite interesting and complex, as the bold flavors digress with warmth and notes of nuts, licorice, fruits, dark malts, and smoked connotations transpire

M: Low carbonation, medium body, hidden ABV; the feel is light, creamy, sweet and smooth

O: A refined boldness: an elegant stout of more than one-dimension and no artificiality

Bottled in April 2015, opened in January 2017. Solid brew, but not a lot a lot of flavor

Amazing beer. April 2015 bottle. Black tar with a tall milk chocolate head that leaves a ring and some lace. Chocolate and maple syrup combine in the nose. Taste is straight up delicious! Mouthfeel is gorgeous, silky, not overly viscous, low carbonation. Overall, one of the best stouts I've had.
