22 oz gold foil topped bottle. Purchased two days ago at the Warren Store. Served in a Lawson's snifter.

Pours a clear golden copper with a frothy white head. Thick clumps of lace and a retentive head that fades to a thick collar. Extremely hop and pungent aroma; leafy, green and dank. Some light notes of tropical fruit try to sneak through the raw hop bitterness and light grassiness. Soft medium thick body with gentle carbonation. Flavor is much more balanced and less of an assault than I expected from the nose. Bitter start to finish, but the soft body complements the smooth tropical fruit flavors of the Amarillo hops before Cascade and Cent. take over the finish. Love the flavor on this and fuller body, Double Sunshine is still my favorite DIPA all around, but I think I enjoy the depth of flavor on this a little more. Happy to finally try this fresh.

Huge thanks to koopa for sharing this treat with me!

Pours a hazy, pale golden orange color with tangerine edges and a 1.5 finger white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring.  Spotty lacing left behind.

Dank, earthy hop aroma with resinous pine needle, grassy hops and a strong citrus/tropical fruit presence.  Pale malt backbone with hints of biscuit, graham cracker and straw.  Lots of mango, grapefruit, pineapple and orange peel character but it's balanced by the earthier hop notes and subtle malt backbone.  

Medium bodied with a blast of earthy, piney hops countered by sweet citrus and tropical fruit notes.  Grassy, dry and resinous with hints of curaçao, blood orange, grapefruit, pineapple and mango countered by a pale malt backbone.  more earthy than sweet but still very well balanced with a delicious hop profile and just enough malt.
