Appearance is amber to brown. Finger thick head at pour. Sticky and strong lacing on the glass. The nose is promising with lots of hop aroma. Piney. Some sweet malt presence. Malts come through on the taste as well - not totally dominated by the hops. Sweet Belgian candy flavor with a strong bitter backbone.

Beautiful goldenrod color with lots of visible bubbles. Thick and creamy head blankets the top of the liquid and clings to the glass in thin threads of lacing.
Bright floral, mild citric and sweet honey aromas.
Bready malt, pine and citrus hop bitterness, honey and apricot nectar sweetness. Well balanced with medium bitterness overall.
Light to medium bodied and a bit sticky. Quick burst of carbonation disappears leaving a void on my tongue. Somewhat dry in the finish.
Interesting IPA. Definitely one of the sweeter examples I have yet to try.

This was initially so good and I was so thirsty, that I pretty much guzzled it.
The appearance is very appealing, with nice lace, good color, and it is very clear.
The initial taste is somewhat creamy with no bite. It is a well balanced, not very over the top AIPA, still that is the correct style as it is very full bodied.
The aftertaste is very foodie. There is a thick substantial feel to this ale. Overall, it is not as good as it's parts, but it is a very nice ale.

Poured from a "stubby" 12oz. bottle with an attractive hummingbird label.
Clear, copper-gold with a moderate head of off-white foam.
Aroma-Faint floral hop note
Taste-Toasted malt, soft floral hops. Nicely balanced but more of a pale ale feel than an IPA. Innofensive and pleasant, would make a good "starter" IPA for those just venturing into the wonderful world of the hophead.
