Decent place with a helpful staff. Nice beer selection spanning local/regional, national craft and macros, and a fair selection of imports.

It's not far from the interstate and many hotels.

As far as terre haute goes, BC has the best selection. During the weekdays is when I stop and usually get someone who knows, drinks and likes to talk good beer. Great choice of cold and shelved bottles. Last visit was I told of a newer location on other side of town that isn't as popular but gets the same amount of new stuff each week and it seems to last longer there. Guess I know where else to check now!

These guys are rude, and do not know much about their beer. However their selection is great. They receive 3 Floyds on Fridays. Overall there are better places. Places like 7th & 70, Charlies, and Sonkas.

Stopped in here and was surprised at the beers in stock. Definitely had a great selection of Indiana beers and some gems that I couldn't find elsewhere. Prices were good. Was bummed that they were out of Fat Heads Head Hunter. But, I must've just missed it as the shelf in the fridge hadn't been switched out. Will definitely stop here again.

This place is a great addition to the Terre Haute beer selection. The place was clean and well kept. The people were fine. They didn't come up and talk beer with you, but they were polite enough. The selection was nothing to complain about as well. They had quite a variety of foreign and domestic beers in singles and six packs. Even had some Trappist beers to go with it. Overall, This place is a God send to the Terre Haute area. And as a college student looking for good beer its the best place to go.

I hit this place on a Saturday night. It wasn't too crowded and they had a couple of people roving around helping people. For its location, the selection is pretty good. It's not the greatest bottle store you'll ever find, but for this area it's great someone is at least trying to have a decent selection from the craft breweries. They have the usual suspects: Stone, 3 Floyds, Founders and also places like Tyranena that we don't always see in these parts.
The kid who helped me seemed like he knew what he was talking about and turned me on to a couple of beers I might not have given a try. The staff at checkout was very eager to help me get my beer packaged up so I could get it to the car easily and I was very pleased with my experience. I live about an hour away and I'm making this my new bottle store. Do stop by if you're passing though Terre Haute.

Stopped in this store as I was passing through town during a family visit to Southern IN.

Very clean, well lit, nice lay out. Extremely friendly staff. I was looking for something local because I'm don't frequent the area. Beer manager walked me down the cooler wall and pointed out several options while we discussed my preferences. Selection was impressive...then I saw the racks of bombers and I was simply blown away! Excellent selections. Great staff.

I'll be stopping every time I pass through town.

Thanks for a great experience!

No this is the big guns of terre haute. The selection here is far better then anything you would expect to find in a small town like this. they often get the rare releases, you gotta get there right on time or talk to the manager to get em tho. It's been hard for stores around here to keep there stocks of the favorite FFF beers up but BC always has them, including the most Dradnuahgt ive ever seen on a shelf before. The managers are great, shes a craft beer drinker herself and tries to ge tthe best she can, she always gives great suggestions on things to try. If your in terre haute and need some high quality craft beer definitley stop in at this place.

My go to bottle shop since moving to Terre Haute. The staff is nice and a couple of them know a thing or two about craft beer, but most don't. However, they are extremely accommodating and willing to help with whatever. Selection is great for the area, but not on par with great shops in other cities. But again this is Terre Haute so this must be taken into consideration. This place is always clean and well kept and within the past few weeks gthey seem to be stocking up more and more on their craft selection. Great place to find 3 Floyds, Boulevard, Schlafly, Two Brothers, and they carry a good selection of other breweries like Stone, Unibroue, Bells, Founders, Victory, etc.
i highly recommend this place and it a MUST stop if in the area.

Went there on a whim. Was really impressed. Everything was clean. A nice surprise for a liquor store. The craft selection was a LOT better than I expected. Everything was layed out nicely and the staff was about as nice as you could expect.I got a nice haul for a pretty good price. They had some stuff like Great Divide that I didn't even know came to Indiana. I'm going here from now on. I tell ya, a lot of stores could be run like this and have things layed out like here. I think the guys from the Crown in Avon could learn a lot from these guys.

This is probably the best bottle shop in Terre Haute, but that being said it is what it is: a bottle shop in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The staff don't seem to know too much about the beer selection, which is reflective of the stock they carry: 90% liquor or wine. They do carry a wide array of Three Floyds, Founders, and New Belgium which is great, but not spectacular. The focus is definitely on six packs, and has become increasingly so over the past year. Can always pick up some vintage Three Floyds bombers, which makes me worry about the turnover on their Dreadnaught. Very reasonable prices though.

Overall, a great place to go if you're in need of run-of-the-mill sixers of regular offerings, but you won't find too many rarities here.

Figured I would toss up a quick review as it is arguably the best place in Terre Haute to buy beer. The only other place that might get you a better/different selection is M. Mogger's Brewery (restaurant with carry out, actually).

Bourbon and Canal has quite a bit of different craft brews. I've lived in Terre Haute for 17 years now, and have been very pleased with their continuous turnover in different beers. They always have the latest Three Floyd's beers, as well as several Bell's, Founders, and other midwestern beers. They'll get in a few bottles of limited beers (ie. Utopias) here and there and always have a good selection both warm and cold. Their prices are very standard for the area and the service is always good.

If you are in Terre Haute, and are looking for a place to stop by to grab a few brews, this is the place to go. Also, it is very close to I-70.

The best beer store in Terre Haute.

The store is always clean, well lit, and well stocked.

The staff is excellent. They are always walking around and making sure everyone is taken care of. They offer to help carry items out to your vehicle if you have quite a lot. They'll go into the back store room to check on cases if you wish to buy a full case.

They have beer and wine tastings nearly every Saturday (for example, I caught the Stone tasting and the American vs. English tasting).

They have nearly every Indiana brewery that does bottles, and a very nice selection of those.

They have a very nice import section and some excellent ciders as well, including Strongbow. They do have the usual macros as well if that's what you want.

They also have a section of cooler where you can make your own six-packs.
