Welcome to Jackson Hole, Wyoming!
Make yourself at home at Snake River Brewing in the heart of the Teton Mountain Range. All roads, trails, bike paths, climbing routes and ski runs lead to "The Brewpub"! After a day in the great outdoors how can you not partake of a tasty malt beverage and a delicious meal?
Considered by many to be Jackson's "living room", our pub provides locals and visitors alike a unique social experience. We are non-smoking (always have been) and family-friendly.
We open each day at 11:30 am and our kitchen serves until 11:00 pm. Wyoming says you gotta leave by 2:00am.
We've been around since 1994 when Joni and Albert Upsher decided to open the restaurant and brewery. In 2007, the Upshers retired and sold to Ted and Noa Staryk. Snake River Brewing has always been family owned and operated. Everything here is handmade, we even have our own bakery.
If you're thirsty or hungry or both, we can help. Hope to see you soon!

Stopped in Jackson on the way to a conference in Jackson Hole. Jackson was your typical tourist town, while everyone headed to the Cowboy Bar or the Silver Dollar, we went got out of the tourist traps and headed to the Snake River Brewing Company. What a nice surprise, a large outdoor seating area along with a large first and second floor seating area with the brew works in the background. Both floorsalso had very nice bar areas. The atmosphere was very nice, what you would expect from a brewery and brewpub.
They had about seven beers on tap, including Fitzy Stout in cask. They also had a nice bottle selection of their beer.
Our waitress was a rookie, her second day on the job, so I'll cut her some slack, she was trying hard and did a good job. She was very attentive and was still learning the beer styles.
The menu was very nice, the griddled polenta and the California pizza were excellent.
We headed out just as the big storm hit, so instead of getting soaked, we retreated to the upstairs bar. The bar tender was very friendly and had great beer knowledge. I was able to sample a few more of the snake river selections, thank you weatherman.
All in all this is a great stop if your in Jackson, a bit pricy, however, that goes with the territory.

Snake River Brewing has the feeling of a family-owned business and is a great place to enjoy a few beers and some typical pub food with some friends or bring a big family group with small kids like we did. The staff doesn't seem to mind -- they do an excellent job either way.
A: The atmosphere is pretty typical for a brewery-restaurant combo, but it has a somewhat more kitschy, quaint, family-owned feel to it. There are two main levels and both operate pretty similarly. It is a pretty large restaurant overall, and all on-tap beers (about 10) are available.
Q: The quality of the beers were excellent. I ordered a Snake River Lager and Pako's IPA and both were exceptional. I tried my father-in-law's Kolsch and it was quite good, a little light in the maltiness department but pretty good. The food was pretty usual brewpub-type food but got the job done. I had a veggie burger which was probably the least good entree, clearly from a box.
S: The service was remarkable -- we had a large party of 11 people with small kids. Beers and drinks were there pronto and the food was at our table in 15 minutes -- couldn't have been more perfect. A couple of small errors but they were rectified quickly. The servers were in good spirits and didn't seem to mind helping a table with at least one screaming toddler.
S: They have about 10 beers on tap and all are fresh and good-to-great examples of the style they say they are. This is a quality small brewery -- you will not be disappointed in the beer and the overall experience is good. Prices are definitely reasonable -- especially for Jackson Hole.
F: The food was typical brewpub stuff - nachos, etc. The portions were appropriate to large. Nobody left hungry.
Snake River Brewing is just what you are looking for -- excellent beers and service with a comfortable, local vibe.

Visited SRBC in June with my college buddy and was awesome. Beer was amazing. i had a sampler, followed by a pale ale. Staff was very good and took care of us. Food among our group was really good. Everyone in our group had a great meal and visit. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in on a recent trip to Jackson, WY.
The place was pretty typical for a brewpub. TV's, music playing, big bar with a few different stations of taps, visible brewing equipment, etc...
They quality of what I sampled while there was great. 8 beers on tap if I remember correctly with a cask available as well. Pakos IPA and Zonker Stout were their two flagships that stood out to me. But the clear cut winner was Le Serpent. I made sure to get seconds of this one.
The service was good, not great. It might have been more on us than them as we had had their beers all over town all week and didn't really feel the need to ask too many questions. Regardless, my beer was poured and served with no problems.
I can't speak to the whole menu, but the Wild Game Chili was fantastic.
Good value for what you get. Definitely worth checking out.

I visited Snake River Brewpub on September 1st, 2012.
Don't let this review skew you in any way, but my only only real complaint of Snake River Brewpub was its absence of seating availability. There was no rhyme or reason to its function. People standing everywhere; almost on top people at their dinner tables whilst the couple was eating. People standing in front, and around the bar without knowing where to stand to ask for a beer. Only two pavilion seats outside; figured there would be more outside seating with an attending waitress... or, even a few rover style waitresses working the outside standing area to somewhat squelch the chaos in front of the bar. However, the bartenders did a good job at eagle eying the customers, but the system could be a lot better and less stressful.
Other than the seating situation, the environment was awesome, the people were more than friendly; the Brewpub location was FANTASTIC. The food was great, and the beer was more than enjoyable.

Pako is a name of a dog and the name of a very good beer from this fine brewery that I can't get back home. And Snake River Brewing is a nice place with a self guided tour and a reasonable sampler with solid beers. And I am one who is a great fan of their Zonker Stout. People where friendly for the most part, and the building was modern. Had the lunch special and food was ok for pub fare, but not the best. I don't know if I will get back to Jackson, but if I do you can be sure I will be going back.
