Welcome to Jackson Hole, Wyoming!
Make yourself at home at Snake River Brewing in the heart of the Teton Mountain Range. All roads, trails, bike paths, climbing routes and ski runs lead to "The Brewpub"! After a day in the great outdoors how can you not partake of a tasty malt beverage and a delicious meal?
Considered by many to be Jackson's "living room", our pub provides locals and visitors alike a unique social experience. We are non-smoking (always have been) and family-friendly.
We open each day at 11:30 am and our kitchen serves until 11:00 pm. Wyoming says you gotta leave by 2:00am.
We've been around since 1994 when Joni and Albert Upsher decided to open the restaurant and brewery. In 2007, the Upshers retired and sold to Ted and Noa Staryk. Snake River Brewing has always been family owned and operated. Everything here is handmade, we even have our own bakery.
If you're thirsty or hungry or both, we can help. Hope to see you soon!

Visited SRBC in June with my college buddy and was awesome. Beer was amazing. i had a sampler, followed by a pale ale. Staff was very good and took care of us. Food among our group was really good. Everyone in our group had a great meal and visit. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in on a recent trip to Jackson, WY.
The place was pretty typical for a brewpub. TV's, music playing, big bar with a few different stations of taps, visible brewing equipment, etc...
They quality of what I sampled while there was great. 8 beers on tap if I remember correctly with a cask available as well. Pakos IPA and Zonker Stout were their two flagships that stood out to me. But the clear cut winner was Le Serpent. I made sure to get seconds of this one.
The service was good, not great. It might have been more on us than them as we had had their beers all over town all week and didn't really feel the need to ask too many questions. Regardless, my beer was poured and served with no problems.
I can't speak to the whole menu, but the Wild Game Chili was fantastic.
Good value for what you get. Definitely worth checking out.

I visited Snake River Brewpub on September 1st, 2012.
Don't let this review skew you in any way, but my only only real complaint of Snake River Brewpub was its absence of seating availability. There was no rhyme or reason to its function. People standing everywhere; almost on top people at their dinner tables whilst the couple was eating. People standing in front, and around the bar without knowing where to stand to ask for a beer. Only two pavilion seats outside; figured there would be more outside seating with an attending waitress... or, even a few rover style waitresses working the outside standing area to somewhat squelch the chaos in front of the bar. However, the bartenders did a good job at eagle eying the customers, but the system could be a lot better and less stressful.
Other than the seating situation, the environment was awesome, the people were more than friendly; the Brewpub location was FANTASTIC. The food was great, and the beer was more than enjoyable.

Pako is a name of a dog and the name of a very good beer from this fine brewery that I can't get back home. And Snake River Brewing is a nice place with a self guided tour and a reasonable sampler with solid beers. And I am one who is a great fan of their Zonker Stout. People where friendly for the most part, and the building was modern. Had the lunch special and food was ok for pub fare, but not the best. I don't know if I will get back to Jackson, but if I do you can be sure I will be going back.

Stopped here on my move up to Montana.
The place is modern, clean, busy, and well laid out. There was an upstairs area and the design allowed you to see back into the brewery from the bar. Had the Pako's IPA and the stout, both of which were served in a room temp glass and were very tasty. The bartenders were courteous and helpful. Seemed to be a lot of locals, which is a good sign. Only drawback was the loud, annoying techno/house music playing which made conversation difficult. The shit was blaring. Had the bleu cheese burger, which was delicious.

Went here the other day after a day of hiking up in the Tetons. Arrived early afternoon on a Sunday and the place was hopping. They have a couple nice patio areas and we were able to grab a table on the upstairs patio. Had a pint of their Pako IPA which was very tasty and my wife had their lager which was also very good. We shared a plate of their happy hour nachos which were cheap and tasty. Their normal prices were pretty high but thats Jackson Hole. I did buy a six pack of the Pako IPA in cans and it was $9 for a six pack...good IPA but thats a little much...once again though its Jackson Hole so what do you expect. Overall very solid place, I would frequent Snake river a ton if I lived in the area.

Snake River is located in Jackson, a place most people probably love or hate. Despite being the worlds largest frat house, we enjoyed our evening in town before swiftly returning to our nearby campsite in Grand Teton NP.
This place was absolutely buzzing on a Saturday night - we grabbed a buzzer and waited in the bar. The US was getting slaughtered by Mexico in the Gold Cup and that buzzer never did go off so we found a home at the bar for the evening.
I'm not sure if Jackson has an off-season, but the bar had a lot of locals in it though the smell of tourists was strong.
The building was bright, lofted and packed with people. The beer was all quite nice (IPA, pale, california common, stout) and the food was also great. I had the truffle mushroom pie with sage, peppers and goat cheese - quite tasty.
Definitely worth a break from the campfires if you're staying in lower Grand Teton.

My family and I stopped in here a few nights ago for dinner and a few pints. We had just arrived at the Jackson Airport and it was just after 10:00pm. Snake River Brewpub happened to be one of the only places open for dining at that time of night.
Snake River Brewpub was hoppin' when we showed up - we were lucky to find a table! The crowd was comprised mainly of young people, with a few old cowboys scattered about. The interior looks like a mix between warehouse and local pizza joint; high ceilings and wooden rafters, with arcade games upstairs. It felt very comfy.
We ordered two pizzas and a couple rounds of beer. Our waitress was friendly and speedy, although she didn't seem too beer-savvy. That was fine though because the menu provided detailed descriptions of each ale and lager. The beer selection was diverse, and it seemed like every offering boasted multiple GABF and WBC awards. Both the food and beer were stellar, and we'll definitely be back here before we fly out on Friday (June 24th).
If you find yourself in Jackson Hole, make sure you pay a visit to Snake River Brewpub!

Classic brewbub, visible brew system, big lofty building with lots of glass. Numerous awards decorate the post & beam interior.Nice outdoor seating area w/plenty of bike racks.
We tried numerous brew and they were all true to style, no real standouts, just solid tasty beer.
Service was a little weak until we asked for some local information, then the great personalities came out.
The food was served propmtly and the portions were generous. The locals sitting at the bar were very engaging and downright helpful with every topic that were asked about.
If your in Jackson and like brewpubs this is a must stop.

Went to Jackson for a few days and saw that this was the "most awarded small brewery in America" so I figured I'd go eat and have a beer here one night. I wasn't disappointed.
The atmosphere was okay. The outside wasn't very inviting, but the inside was pretty great. A lot of talking and regulars who were pretty obnoxious but that's not too bad.
The food was amazing. Good selection on the menu. The bison bratwurst was phenomenal.
The beer was amazing, as it should be.
The service was okay. Our server came by the table three times and that's about it.
I'll definitely come here again if I'm ever in Jackson.
