Stout? Porter? No matter. A finger of thick, deep brown head with decent retention. The roasty nose was somewhere between coffee and chocolate. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium with a smoky, dark chocolatey taste on the tongue. Finish had a charcoal/bittersweet chocolate taste. I have to cop to being intrigued by this beer.
