Pours golden with a thick creamy head that leaves lacing.

The smell is grainy - not much, but not unpleasant.

The taste is of grain with a touch of lemon. Basic, inoffensive and refreshing. Crisp finish.

It is smooth with a creamy finish. Has a nice body to it for the style.

This isn't bad for what it is. It's probably brewed for the macro-lager, and it's better than most in that class. It's not a bad "lawn-mower" beer.

a cloudy yellow with a slight bit of foam around the edge of the glass. smells of pilsner malt, lemongrass, very sweet. the flavor is much like the smell..very basic with a slight bit of pilsner taste to it.. has a very bready aftertaste. light-medium in body, low carbonation for the style. nothing impressive here.. good starter beer for those who only drink pbr, miller, and bud (taking into consideration unless you're at least 50 you don't bother with coors anymore, and that would be coors original not light)

A: Light gold, a bit cloudy, very fizzy, good head went quick, good lace
S: Candy like fruit scent and grain. Average for style.
M: Light bitter on the edge of tongue . Sticky sweet. Mild foam.
T: Sweet. Honey as advertised. Odd slight rubber note doesn't detract. Cooked grain in the center. Lemon bitter slight.

O: Pleasant drink, good alternative to the BMC, but still a bit plain.

Enjoyed this 12oz bottle out of a large snifter glass.

A: Pours a light golden hue with a huge, white, 4-finger head that slowly dissipates down the side of the glass ending in a solid lace.

S: Not much of a nose – light grains, malt, and hops.

T: Very light and slightly sweet. Like the nose – there’s just not a lot of flavor here. Grainy middle with hints of honey in the background.

M: Thin body and medium carbonation.

O: Not totally disappointing but nothing I would grab again.

As usual with horny blondes, this one was suddenly calling over to me, so it was an easy pick up. She has a nice top, with just a bit of good head. She has a taste you can't complain about, unless you were looking for something a bit more serious, but with a horny blonde, you shouldn't expect an intellectual experience.

This blonde doesn't get down and dirty but I am sure you could make up for that by doing it all night long. Hopefully the horns won't wear off, but I think I might get tired of it and want something with more character.

A: Pours a crystal clear brillant medium yellow with some light amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall bright white head that reduces to a thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate amounts of sweet grainy malts (possible adjunct malts), honey, and just a hint of grassy hops.

T: There is a sweet cereal grain (and hints of adjunct malts) along with some honey. There is a light amount of grassy hops and very light amounts of bitterness.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: Easy to drink and enjoyable, this is a very sessionable beer that you could drink all day long - this tastes more like a blonde ale than a light lager.

Not as horrible as the label looks or the beer sounds. Pours a clear brilliant golden color with a bright white head, forms thin speckled lacing as it dwindles. Aroma has light biscuit malts with a light herbal hop in the back end, nothing overtly sweet or offensive here. Flavor has a creamy malts sweetness, with massive cereal notes and a bit of cooked veggie. Light herbal hops in the back end with some dry yeast cake chalkiness. Mouthfeel is light bodied with ample carbonation, a bit fizzy and a bit yellow nothing markedly better than anything mainstream or worse than anything out there that is super craft. Overall, it was bearable but nothing really exciting or well executed as a honey blonde lager.

Horny Goat Horny Blond

LOOK: pale yellow, perfectly clear brew. Carbonation rising actively from the bottom.

AROMA: clean lager yeast, faint malt sweetness and the suggestions of honey oat cereal.

TASTE: bready, lager yeast characteristics. There is a mild honey grain sweetness and a ghost hop bitterness. the brew has a more or less even balance. Mellow but agreeable flavor. Light to medium yet thin bodied, semi crisp, alittle loose but alriight.

Affordable and inoffensive, this lager is a serviceable beer. Could be paired with just about anything, and would go just fine along with greasy bar food or lighter seafood dishes.

12oz bottle served in a pilsner glass.

L - clear yellow color with a bright white head that became a thin layer with lots of bubbles rising from the bottom, lacing was thin and minimal.

S - malty with a trace of grassiness.

T - crisp, clean taste upfront with a pilsner-like taste on the finish.

F - light/medium bodied with a crisp and refreshing feel.

O - a good tasting beer that's easy to drink.

Malty some busciut

The inital taste is malt. very smooth, malt gives way to a slight hop bite, finish dry extermely refreshing

Perfect balance on the mouthfeel This is not a world style lager Much fuller body

I love this beer. It is a extremley refreshing lager. There is the perfect amount of hop presence and mouthfeel.

Pours a dark golden color that looks a lot less bubbly and clear as most light lagers, which is a good thing. A thin white head dissipates almost immediately.
Smell has a nice clean biscuit smell. Very fresh wheat and a clean hop smell. Nothing crazy, but nice.
Taste has a clean wheat start. There is a bit of a hop tinge, too, which gives it a bit of a taste.
Mouthfeel has a bit of a thickness, but a very crisp shot at the front of the tongue. Very refreshing feel, which is perfect for a light lager.
Drinkability is very good on this beer. It has a high ABV and a much better taste than most light lagers. If someone is looking to slug beers all day long, but not compromise taste, this is a great choice!

Apperance: Crystal clear yellow pour with a decent quantity of fairly creamy head. The head didn't last too long though. But it hung around for at least a little while.

Smell: Honey + grass. Maybe hints of herbal hops in there somewhere, but definitely well behind the other two.

Taste: Honey comes out and hits you in the face a bit. Still grassy. Some malt, and now the hops are somewhat more prominent (but still a bit role). Some lemony citrus. And a pleasant earthy bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Light. Maybe a little shy on the carbonation.

Overall: Another Horny Goat offering that I don't mind drinking but likely won't purchase again. Not bad, just so many better options.

Appearance: pours a clear golden yellow color with a 1/2" head that breaks apart immediately.

Smell: some honey sweetness and grass is all you can detect.

Taste: mild malt profile. Grass, honey, golden apples and a bit of bitterness creates a dull beer.

Mouthfeel: lightly crisp throughout. Basically a clean aftertaste too.

Overall: this has an overall fake flavor about it. This one comes across as just another macro type beer for the masses. Skip this one.

A: Brilliant clarity of blonde-gold coloring shows a moderately paced and spaced array of effervesce. The head is a thin frothy covering that needs help in retention with a minimal show of lace. I generally like my blondes dirty (hazy with protien).

S: Soft fresh hopping, fresh greenery and pilsner grains. Soft muskiness of oranges and lemons lies beneath.

T: Honey malt with a light zing of lemon and fresh greenery for hops. As with the nose ever so slight muskiness is observed, some graininess leaving the tongue with a touch of herbal and semi-dry lemon peel. Decent show of hoppiness by style regards.

M: Light mouthful, slippery buttery texture and feel. Carbonation is a bit quiet, would of benefited with a bit more crispness but seems to fair well with a lazy, laid back attitude perfect for sippin on the cot.

O: Overall not a bad tasting beer, certainly not a Belgian style or yeasty, but as a stand alone entry level light sippin tweener will suffice for one or two. Bought as a part of a sampler pack. average all around.

I'll thought a horny blonde sounded nice...

This blonde, despite being a lager and not a blonde ale, actually looks pretty attractive. It pours a bubbly bright gold with a surprisingly tall eggshell white head. The retention is excellent.

I'm hoping that the beer isn't hopeless after my first whiff. It smells like fizzy foam, with fleeting dashes of lemon, crackers, and a dash of skunk. It is better than a macro aroma despite it's relative lack of passion.

It's got enough flavor to keep me interested. Slight bitterness from noble hops keep things earthy and slightly bitter from beginning to end. A bit of diacetyl and lemon peel accent the dry flavor.

The feel is pretty silky and finishes nice and dry. The carbonation isn't in the mouth as it is visually.

It's really pretty smooth, and it's got more flavor (especially hops) than I was anticipating. So for that, I give it credit. It's not an award winner, but it is gone in 2 minutes, and that certainly aids in it's overall impression.

Got this at the Party Mart just down the road from my house in Lake Mills, WI.

Pours a pale yellow color, quite a bit of foamy white head. Smells lemony sweet. Nice light bodied beer with a good clean taste. I enjoyed this beer. Very drinkable, I'll buy this beer again if I see it.

picked this up in what i thought was a mixed six...i was wrong

a: pours a golden color with about about a quarter inch of white head that disappears quickly leaving only a trace of lace around the edge of the glass and a touch in the middle of the beer. there are a lot of carbonation bubbles rising to the top of the beer throughout the tasting

s: lemony sweet aroma there is merely a hint of citrusy hop bitterness to balance

t: lemony sweet flavor, hop balance is not really detectable in the flavor

m: light bodied beer, average carbonation

overall, this is a decent beer but not one that i will get again

The look of this beer is like a lager, yellow. The aroma smells like bananas, maybe a hint of apples. It tastes like a light lager. There isnt much of a honey taste in this beer. The mouthfeel is very light. It tastes like there really isnt any flavor there. This is how light lager is suppose to be. But even with a light flavor, you need balance. When the beer is on the tounge it doesnt taste smooth.

Eh. Poured with decent white head and some lace. Color is a clear amber. Aroma is heavy banana, crackers, biscuit malt. Flavor is similar to aroma. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor too. The banana thing is too much. Not a session beer.

Pours a clear gold color with a medium white head.

Nose is an assertive banana/peach/yeast. Smells more like a Belgian ale than a blonde lager.

Medium bodied with a mouthfeel that is clean, fresh, crisp and with a citrus character.

Flavors are medium to big yeasty white bread with bitter grapefruit flavors and undertones.

Finish is a pleasant grapefruit-pine.

This is a very simple but well made beer and is extremely drinkable and would likely be pleasant for most. I'm a fan of much bigger beers and of extreme beers. Yet, this one, as simple as it is, was quite pleasant and appealing.

12 oz bottle poured into a Pilsner Glass. 3069 printed on the neck. No other info.

A - This pours completely clear golden yellow with a one-and-one-half finger white head. Decent retention and some creamy lace left on the glass.

S - A little spritz of skunky funk comes out of the freshly cracked bottle. Beyond that I pick up grainy, adjuncty smelling malts with a kiss of honey.

T - The flavor has the same small skunky hint to it with a kiss of honey. Again, it also has a grainy, dried corn adjunct flavor.

M - Very light-bodied and watery. A bit slick across the tongue and fully carbonated giving the finish a real sharp kick.

D - I'll never have it again. The Horny Blonde isn't their worst beer but it's not worth having. If, for some reason, you find yourself in a predicament where it's the only option, it wont kill you. Of course, after a few, in the morning you may wish it had.
