The Draft Zone is our "go to" place in Frostburg for beer and laid back atmosphere. They have a good selection of beers on tap: always some Clipper City Heavy Seas brews, last time they had Weyebacher Hops Infusion, lots of seasonals, and at least 18 taps (if not more). They also have a really nice selection of bottles, including Three Philosophers. Pizza and bottleneck fries are good. They have 2 pool tables, a fooseball table, and darts, as well as a decent jukebox and tons of tvs for sports fans.

The only 2 real cons about this place are 1) service and 2) kids. First, there is usually only ONE bartender, even on a Friday night when the place is 2 people deep at the bar. Not cool. Second, it is marketed as a "kid-friendly" place, where parents can bring their kids for dinner and get a beer. That's fine, but take the little buggers home after 8 pm on a Friday or Saturday night in a college town. I shouldn't have to watch my language or worry about some little kid zooming past me on those goddamn wheeled shoes when I am at a bar. It is actually REALLY annoying. I WISH they would establish a "No one under 18" rule after 8 pm on weekends.
