This is quite a unique pub. It is in a really sketchy area of town, but don't let that keep you from visiting.
The atmosphere inside is very...cozy. Its a decent size. I was there on a weekend night and it didn't seem to be very busy. It was a good atmosphere to have a night cap with the crew.

The service was great. The staff didn't exactly know too much about beer, but they were definitely enthusiastic about beer and they were all very nice and talkative people.

The selection was nothing spectacular, but there is definitely something there for everyone and they'll get the occasional rarity. Plus they always have rasputin on tap!

This is, at best, a college bar in psuedo-Irish disguise. In a neighborhood that looked well past its prime. Put more accurately, it's a dive, pure and simple.

On Nov. 14, 2009 they still had Halloween decor up with some Xmas lights strung about. 1/2 dozen chairs (EXTREMELY worn out fabric on them and foam showing all along the front) and a long booth/bench with three wobbly tables plus the bar seating. Very worn painted (mostly) plywood floor.

The service, from the staff of one, was good and he was friendly and well-informed. About 25 taps and an unknown number of bottles.

I got a tap brew, finished it pretty quickly and beat feet.
