I have always noticed this place in North Amherst near Sunderland. I wanted to finally give it a try since I never heard any buzz or info about it. Boy what a gem this was!

Upon entering I just see almost a dozen refrigerators of beer. On the left were more typical, major brands but the majority of fridges were all devoted to imports or micros. I saw it all: BBC, Paper City, People's Pint, Opa-Opa, Magic Hat, Geary's, Clipper City, Sam Adams, Brooklyn, Flying Dog, North Coast, Wachusett, Rogue, Smuttynose, Victory, etc, etc. As well, they have a decent liquor and wine selection, but the beer was where it was it.

There was one gentlemen at the front desk and he was very friendly and talkative. I figure, or at least have a hunch, he was a bit informative if I had strong questions.

It might be a little out of the way in Amherst and off a bit from 116 going into Sunderland but Watroba was an excellent liquor store that should be given a chance. It is in good company in the town of Amherst.
