Have been to the store several times and while they do have an excellent selection, they are having some freshness issues with some of their beers especially their ipas my brother got me a four pack of the gubna for xmas here and when I checked itnws dated 3-15-10. In all of the times that I have been in only once has anyone said anything other than how are we doing today at the register. It has a guy walking by who saw me and said you look like you know your stuff and kept going, I guess thiswas a half hearted attempt at offering assistance but what ever. My final issue with the place is the price every bomber is 1-2 dollarS more than at other stores, and the same goes for most 4 and 6 packs. Also the Sam infinium Is 25 it's 21 in Boston. For your money go elsewhere and get. More reasonably priced fresh beer

I have shopped here many times in the past, its quite convenient just over the border from Nashua for those of us in beer selection deprived NH. The selection is quite good for the area especially when you consider the myriad of labels that don;t get to my fair state. Service is spotty at best, the kids behind the counter will help you find something but don't ask too much of them. The pricing seems about on par with what I would expect to pay save for that 28 dollar bottle of BA old stock that's been there for ages. That brings me to the bad part about this store. They have a huge selection of beer available, probably more than they can rotate through in any reasonable amount of time, there is lots of old beer on the shelf buyer beware.

This is my go to beer place. This place is awesome from the selection to the staff. They have over 500 beers (I'd say a lot more than that now) and always carry hard to finds and seasonals. The staff is very friendly, they have a beer guy named Spencer who I frequently talk to and he always points me in the right direction when it comes to beer I haven't tried. I've had them special order me numerous hard to get items such as kbs, cbs, 120min etc. And always come through. I highly recommend this place.

This place definitely has a ton of beer. Luckily for me in Nashua, it is a close hike over the border. It's right next to a Trader Joe's, so if you need food, there is a huge selection there. Tons of beer available in singles and packs/cases. Distribution laws in Mass are way better than NH, so if you are close to the border, this gives a nice outlet for some actual selection. The setup is standard, with plenty of aisle space to wander around. Mixed sixers available, as well as bombers, etc. It seems like there is a steady influx of new brews available on a regular basis. The brews are a tad bit pricey, but the selection sometimes drives to make it worth it. When the droll NH selection gets me down, you can bet I will be heading back down here.

I've lived in the area for years and never knew about this place. Just assumed it sold liquor and domestics. I was very wrong about that. Their beer selection is one of the biggest in the area. They have a great variety in bombers, 6-ers, 12 packs, and can special order anything available in MA. They typically get 1 or 2 new things in per week. My one critique with them is their prices. They tend to be at least 10-15% higher than a comparable MA store. I go if I'm in the area running errands and can't hit my usual spot.

Seems like an average Mass. liquor store, that can usually be found in most strip malls next to a grocery store(in this case Trader Joe's), but the beer selection was very much above average. Had a lot of Clown Shoes bottles, Pretty Things, Left Hand, limited releases from Dogfish, the Bruery, to name a few, including some Left Hand stuff that I haven't seen in Mass. before. It's also barely outside of New Hampshire, so to those living in the Granite State that want a wider selection this is place is a must see!

Make a quick stop here yesterday and picked up a 4-pack of BCBS '09 for $22.99 Everything about this place is decent, but nothing special. Slightly above average selection of craft, prices were a little on the high side, customer service is at a minimum. I was the only one in the store with 3 employees and I all I got was a "How are you doing today" when I went to checkout. They didn't have any coolers from what I saw, they had one small shelf with singles, though not much of a selection and most belonged in a cooler.
I'd pass on this place in the future unless there was something in particular I was looking for not available elsewhere in the area.

Living in New Hampshire, this has become my go-to store when I'm looking for anything we can't get up here. My parents live near Nashua, so any visit to their house will now include a trip over the state line to Tyngsboro.
Compared to other stores in Mass, The Liquor Shop may not have the best selection, but it sure beats New Hampshires selection. Beligians like Delirium, Rochefort, and Westmalle, as well as Americans breweries like Lagunitas, Southern Tier, Oskar Blues, and many others can all be found here, not even a mile from the state line. I love New Hampshire, but sometimes I'm a little jealous of the selection Massachusetts beer geeks have.
Service doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary. No one seems to go out of their way to talk to you, but they are at least friendly at the register. The store is neat and clean, which always makes for a nice buying experience and it is pretty easy to find things as they are well organized. Price seems a bit expensive, but its been a while since I've lived in Mass so my guess is that its par for the state.

Located just on the line for Nashua near the Pheasant Lane Mall, this little surprise needs some exploration.
Pluses: Separation of the crap/macro from the rest; some decent craft in the cooler, including bombers and some random singles (worth digging a bit); an entire aisle (both sides) of six packs and 12 packs and bombers of good craft beer. Lots local, and alot US-based. One entire section of Belgians (not huge, but enough to dedicate a section to the style). Real friendly staff and sometimes you even get free glasses from them. Again, good selection, but not huge.
Minuses: International selection, while you see some stuff you don't see elsewhere, it is a bit limited, with some 16 oz singles and the like. You can buy single beers, but only those that they've put in the cooler or on one particular shelf (so you try by buying a six pack most of the time). Prices are so-so. Some cheap, some not so cheap.
Overall, worth a stop, and easily overlooked because of location.

This place is quite impressive and was a pleasant surprise. An entire wall is dedicated to bombers & random 6-packs from all over the country & the world. The cold selection is vaste as well, including a great selection from Berkshire Brewing Company & Southern Tier. They also have a wide selection of wine (not my thing) and a cabinet of cigars to choose from.
Sometimes it can be a little pricey, but overall it's a quality store. However, it would be much better if it was just a few feet further down the road so it was in NH & there wasn't a bottle deposit and sales tax!
