Tipsy's has a great selection of beer offerings. The highlight for me are the first 6 coolers, which offer a huge variety of singles that you can mix and match into a six pack. This is a boon to the beer explorer who is looking to sample a wide range of beer and beer styles without committing to a six of any single offering. Want to try six different New Belgium offerings, no problem. Want to try six IPA's from different brew houses, no problem. Want to compare three Belgian beers to three American made Belgian style beers, no problem.

Access is easy from C-470, so if you are driving by, think about stopping in and mixing a six pack of something you have never tried, or whatever hits your fancy.

Great idea!

If you like bombers and are in the area then you need to be here during their tastings. Every weekend 8 different bombers get tasted between Friday and Saturday. Just this weekend the lineup was: Deschutes Hop In the Dark, Firestone Walker DBA, La Chouffe Gold, Dry Dock Vanilla Porter, Boulevard Two Jokers and some others I can't remember. But the tastings are 5-7 Friday and 4-6 Sat and they put the products that are getting tasted on their facebook page a few hours prior. Really awesome stuff. Don't miss the bomber room either while you are there. Really impressive selection...

Tipsy's right across from a glowering white church and the foothills. Standing an impressive form over the highway luring all who come by with its size and depth. It really is a decent atmosphere here. I usually come by on Fridays and Saturdays and often they are doing free liquor tasting, which always includes beer. Well lit, enormous. The biggest selection I've ever seen anywhere. And heyo! make your own sixpacks for 10 bucks... I do all the time thank you. There is also a deli within that is quite pricey but the food is delicious. The value is reasonable because you can always find something interesting on sale. I support small time brewers, not necessarily small time liquors stores and this really helps me support that sentiment. There are many workers here, some are booze geniuses, others can't see beyond there own Bud light lime goggles, that is kind of a toss up but if you say "hey is there anyone here considered a beer expert and can they help me?" You should find the man or woman you need.

I was not impressed with this place. Sure it is huge and they have a lot of stuff to choose from but good luck finding somebody that actually knows what they are talking about their. It's just like davidsons all flash with nothing to back it up. It is nice to see one other big store on that side town but it is a little excessive, their overhead must be enourmous. I left there feeling like they could care less that i was a customer there, especially since I only walked out of there with a six pack.

Was in the area so I stopped in after knowing about the place for a few years. With Lukas and Davidson's right up the road, it seemed like an odd decision to put another liquor superstore in the same neck of the woods.
After walking in, it should be noted that there's a deli and a wine bar inside of it, so that's kind of a cool extra. Nobody else really has anything like that.
Also, this place looks really nice. The decor is the best I've ever seen. Interesting choice to have weird life-like mannequins scattered around. I think it makes the place look better staffed than it really is :P
The entire back wall is dedicated to multi-packs and quite a bit of it is made up of craft and solid import beers. Overall, it's on par with the better stores I've seen. There's a create your own six-pack option, too...which most other places are missing. Another bonus.
In addition, there's a pretty large walk-in cooler area with singles of all kinds, including Belgians, Germans, US crafts, and even some obscure items I haven't seen much of.
Overall this might be the #1 or #2 place in the whole metro area...except for the prices. Everything's about 20% higher than the others. There had to be a catch. Oh well. It's still a good store with a great selection, I just wouldn't ever make it my go-to store for everyday items.

Tipsy's sure is big. That's the first thing I noticed. It sits all alone in a parking lot right off the highway. If you can't spot Tipsy's, you probably need your eyes checked.

To me, selection here is on par with Total Beverage in Westminster, but not quite up to the standards of Davidson's over in Highlands Ranch. Quality is quite good, as the majority of the beer is refrigerated in a giant wall of coolers that line the back of the store. As an added bonus, there's a deli attached to the store, but I didn't take the time to check it out.

With lots of dark wood and big stone columns inside, Tipsy's is more aesthetically pleasing than most stores I've been to. Paying for all that eye candy seems to have been pushed into the prices, as beer here seems more expensive than other other places I've recently visited.

Service from the plentiful staff was good.

Tipsy's is certainly worth a return trip next time I'm in the area.

I was on a trip in Denver and made my way to this beer store. Absolutely beautiful! This is the largest liquor store I have ever seen! Great selection, had a ton of bombers in a large walk in cooler room. Including all of the breweries I was looking for... RR, Lost Abbey, New Belgium, etc. Also had a very large section for mix 6 choices, and 6 packs.

The staff was not incredibly knowledgeable on the beer, but they did know if they had a certain beer and where it was, which is all I really needed. No recommendations, which would have been nice but not necessary.

This is the best beer store, period.

The selection is second to none, better then Beertopia Omaha, better then Specks Houston, Better (just slightly) the Good Beer LA.

Prices are a little steep 8-12% more then Arrow. The selection makes up for it. There are case discounts and specials often mitigate the prices.

Every Friday and Saturday they have free tastings, wine, liquor and Beer! Not just the American Premium Lagers, but all of the great stuff too. This week was the fourth Saturday in a row of Holiday Beer Tastings.

Glass Doors line the entire back wall of the building, and the building is huge. 85% of the doors are beer, and 50% are great beers. The stash cool room has the premium stuff, and is worth the trip alone.

Tipsy's has become a weekly stop for me and the free beer tastings are costing us $20 a week.

Tipsy's Liquor World - WOW! What else can I say? We have nothing in Virginia that can compare. I read about Tipsy's before flying to Colorado last week and was not disappointed from what I saw. If a better beer store exists in the continental United States I would love to visit it.

From a separate cooler room for the "good" beers to an entire wall for "everything" else, what's not to love about this place. I mean, even the name is great! And mannequins?!?

Not being from the area I was very pleased to find a Breckinridge 471 to go with my New Belgium 1554 - all for about $10. In Virginia, that would cost about double...Oh, that's right, we don't have those beers here. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to look forward to my next trip out west. Thanks BA for the Beerfly reviews.

Is this place under the same ownership as Bubbles in Castle Rock? Lots of similarities, like layout, design, and the strange manikins around the store. Either way, this place is much better, as far as their beer selection and prices than Bubbles.

Like I sad, a great beer selection. The entire back wall is a beer cooler. Great selection or domestic and imported brew. Great selection of quality as well. I saw bottles anywhere from a buck to twenty five. Prices are fair, but perhaps on the expensive side.

I accidently dropped a bottle and they were very nice about it.(didn't charge me for the bottle. I would like to chat with their buyer sometime.
