12 oz. Bright orange/amber pour with a small amount of off white head. Quite a bit of bubbles throughout and nice lacing. Sweet malt and candied fruit aroma. Just hints of citrus and pine. A less lively mouthfeel than it appears, quite sticky. Taste has much sweet malt and candied fruits. Brown sugar and piney citrus accent it. Finish is lingering candy as well. Thought it would be just a bit more drinkable with some more carbonation. I think this is a pretty unique take on the style though, and definetely worth trying. 2nd good brew I've had from HOTD in 2 tries.
