An old building with an art-deco motif, a traditional long bar seating about 15, tables for about another 40, 50 or so, and an outdoor deck overlooking the River Raisin. At last count 5 taps with at least one Michigan beer, some average English offering (G?), and seasonal offerings to round things out. A large 50-ish or so beers in the stand up cooler.

129 also has a full liquor bar and specializes in cocktails. Bartender Matt is OUTSTANDING! he knows his beers very well and can kick butt working the cocktail shaker as well.

Food? None per se but you can order from Beak's (across the street - same owner).

Crowd varies but is douche-bag free 99.44% of the time.

Best place in Monroe for beer or libations. We drive 30 minutes from Ohio to this gem!
