On draft at the brewery.
Poured a hazy orange hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a citrusy hop atop a flight caramel malt.
The taste consisted of citrus and pine with a solid light caramel backbone.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a very tasty and well balanced IPA.

Picked up a growler at the brewery during our weekend in Asheville. Wedge is always one of our favorite haunts in Asheville
A - A cloudy reddish orange, with lots of head and lace retention. Beautiful. This is what an IPA should look like!
S - Spicy and hoppy. Bitter piny hops present
T - Big hoppy flavor with a huge sweet malty backbone. Piny hops dominate. A touch of citrus as well. Bitter, but not too much. Very well balanced. Love it
M - Medium bodied, and goes down the hatchett just right
O - An amazing IPA, no doubt. I wish they would bottle it so I can bring alot of it back to Atlanta. If you are in Asheville, got to check out Wedge. Always a good time!

A - deep murky orange amber color.Good carbonation with some cascading.
S - light pear with citrus, bread
T -Fruitisweet bread with an intense earthy/herbal hop that lingers, peppery.
M - medium bodied with good carbonation
O - Very good beer. There are so many good IPAs out there. This one is unique and highly drinkable, The peppery/hoppy flavor really is a treat for hop heads. I recommend this beer and brewery!

Thanks to jtd1969 for bringing me a growler back from his travels.
A - dark hazy orange with a thick, pure white, foamy head that has great retention
S - faint bread, faint cake batter, grapefruit, very faint spicyness
T - opens with some sweet malt and then is completely dominated by big, piney, resinous, incredibly bitter hops; there is also some faint citrus throughout; the bitterness from the hops lingers on the palate for what seems like forever
M - medium bodied, well carbonated, a very warm alcohol finish
This is a nice IPA. It's intensely hoppy with the Cascade hops really making their presence known. The piney, bitter hop character reminded me briefly of SN Celebration. The malt is sweet which I like and does its best to lend balance. I really enjoyed this, and I think any hop head that finds themselves in Asheville needs to stop into Wedge and try this one.
