Bottle: Poured a clear deep brown color ale with a medium size bubbly head with OK retention. Aroma of coffee and light black chocolate is a bit surprising considering the style but enjoyable nonetheless. Taste is also dominated by roasted malt with dry coffee notes with well balance chocolate notes. Body is about average with style with OK carbonation. A lot more character then I would have expected from a brown ale.
