On tap at Bootlegger's Brewery in Fullerton, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and melon aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus and melon flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with some nice fruity aromas and flavors.

Growler to Bootleggers Tulip
1/2 Gallon
Split with my buddy Jeremy
App- A soft peachy orange/yellow. This was very hazy and dense in the glass. A bit of a larger 2 finger head with some big soapy cling down the glass. Looks great in the glass. Not as brown and resiny as some pales.
Smell- Hot damn!! Can you say tropical on the nose? Large amounts of mango and pineapple. Like a pack of tropical fruit starbursts for your nose. Creamy hops on the other side of it. A well balanced nose and not at all malty. Bright, hoppy and citrusy. Really aromatic with a touch of sweetness.
Taste- This was one hell of a pale ale. Would give most IPA's and DIPAs a run for their money. Bright, hoppy and creamy. Huge citrusy flavors with incredible balance. The opening flavors are of the fruits. Next is the hops and a peppery bitter flavor. Just a great beer.
Mouth- A huge medium body with a great medium carbonation. A large creamy feel behind it. Huge amounts of residual citrus with a pineapple and mango flavor. Creamy, hoppy and just a touch of bitter.
Drink- DAMN!!! I hope this remains on rotation for a while. This is a great beer. I want more!!!!

On-tap at Bruery Provisions. 16 oz. pour to a pint glass.
Golden, lively, healthy head, bubbles rushing on. Significant guava flavor, which enhanced this IPA with such a tropical fruit flavor profile.
Extremely drinkable, the 16 oz. I had was decimated in less than 5 minutes. So aromatic, so tropical, so flavorful, and so delicious.
Bootlegger's should make this a year-long growler fill pronto. So motherfucking good. Or bottle this bad boy into 6-pak already.

On Tap at 38 Degrees.
Appearance: wheat copper color, a little bit of white head, maybe 1/2 a finger, no lace, looks innocent enough.
Smell: whoa, strong sweet tropical mango, guava, pineapple, and pine from the hops, very good.
Taste and Feel: Sweet as the nose suggested, medium body, nice malt to round this out, medium carbonation, very hoppy, piney, and floral.
Overall, I was surprised. Initially, we ordered this for my wife as recommended by the server since they did not have the sweet blond beer last time we visited. My wife likes this very much. So, knowing my wife, I did not think I would enjoy this as much as her. To my surprise, I like this very much. If I didn't know, this could easily slip past as a sweet IPA. Cudos!

On-tap at Beachwood I,
A: Pours a deep goldenrod to orange, with some nice lace.
S: Very impressive, pineapple and passion fruit, guava, truly is tropical.
T: Carries the tropical fruit promise of the nose to its fruition. Tropical fruit heavy with some pine. Juicy hoppy flavour.
M: Crisp, medium-bodied, easy drinking,
O: Quite a good Pale Ale, bordering on IPA, but never gives an abrupt direct hop note. It's always attacking, but never goes over the top. Very good beer.

On-tap at Bootlegger's
The pour is a hazy orange color with a finger of white head. Absolutely phenomenal nose on this beer. Amazing guava, mango, pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, and pine hop notes. Some light maltiness, and a bit of Belgian yeast character, maybe some spice and bubblegum. The flavor is full of sweet, fruity hops. Guava, mango, pineapple, and grapefruit are all noticeable. A nice bit of piney bitterness and a moderate malt sweetness and yeast contribution. One of the best Bootlegger’s beers to date.
