Bomber into a pint glass.
A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, Thin White Head Ring, No Lacing
S: Mild Banana, Mild Wheat
T: Wheat, Banana, Mild Oranges
M: Poor Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Sweet
Overall, although the carbonation was weak and the smell mild, the taste was actually not bad.

Pours cloudy and golden. Small white head that didn't last long.
Smells of yeast, wheat, and banana. Slight hint of spices.
Tastes like an above average geman hefeweizen. Has the spicy character and slight hint of banana. I usually like a little more of the banana and clove taste in my german hefe.
Mouthfeel is pretty typical. Medium body and carbonation.
Overall I like this beer and would have it again. Not as good as some of the hefewiezens I've had from germany but pretty good for the west coast.

Appearance: Very nice golden color, few bubbles and cloudy (foggy)
Smell: the smell doesn't have any overpowering, but the scent of banana and zest are the most noticeable.
taste: I gotta say! it's pretty good, it's very balanced it's not very strong and there are no bad aftertastes. You can taste the hops a bit and it's a bit sweet and fruity. Definitely can taste a bit of banana, citrus, and a hint of spice. Very sweet and has a wheaty-spiced aftertaste that's pretty good. Very well balanced, very good beer..nothing overpowering just very good.
mouthfeel: it has a very good body, it's refreshing and light, not too dense and goes down pretty smooth.
overall: very good for starters of this style, I enjoyed it but I'm definitely going to seek out more. It has an abundance of flavors but I cannot say that it's the best of its kind but definitely a good choice to run into. I recommend this it's definitely flavorful but has no "impact" between the flavors it's very subtle but very good and refreshing.

Pours cloudy golden straw, a little dark for my preference, but an excellent huge white head forms and takes for ever to dissipate, leaving random chunky lacing.
Smells of tangy lemon, wheat, yeast, with a light spicy/peppery hint at the end.
Taste is smooth, a bit of wheat, a light banana fruitiness, and a yeasty tang, which lingers for some time.
Texture has a little bit more body than I am looking for, but it remains very smooth and easy to drink.
Having just reviewed the Wiehanstephaner, I kind of knew what I was looking for in a wheat beer. While this beer is extremely good, it seems like each aspect is missing just a tiny little something. Still a great beer.

Taste - Its a hefeweizen that works a more citrus-banana level than on cloves. The hoppy characteristic that they say is in it is a background flavor, one which you might not even notice if you drink your hefe's with a wedge of lemon or orange.
Overall - Solid Hefeweizen. Good for the hot weather, no doubt, with the refreshing hop characteristic.

On tap at Bier Academy in Canyon Country, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a bone colored head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form on the glass on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, spices, yeast, and banana aromas. Taste is very nice with wheat, spices, yeast, bubblegum, and a strong banana flavor. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good hefeweizen that is quite tasty and easy to drink.
