Very tasty and well balanced porter.
This is one of my favorites at Original Gravity. The flavor is roasted chocolate with a hint of coffee. Not sweet but balanced well. It pours with a thick tan head. The color is a dark brownish/black. The mouthfeel is quite smooth.
Most porters I have had at brewpubs have been a little thin or watery but this porter is tops.

Primordial Porter - Original Gravity Brewing Company I had this beer at Slows barbecue on tap. Pours thick and murky brown with a nice tan head that disapated quickly. Chocolate smells along with an earthiness. This beers hops were interesting, dank but intriguing..Smooth and chewy. goes down easy, no bitter. A wonderful compliment to dinner.

Tap at OG. The usual black/brown pour. Light tan head. Sticks to the glass ok.
Aroma, nice roast malt, chocolates, cocoa. Faintest coffee.
Taste matches well. Very smooth balance of roast malt, dark chocolate, cocoa. Slight earthiness. No harshness or bitterness.
Very smooth and creamy, yet on the lighter side of medium bodied. Goes down extreamly easy. Great session porter, best of the 3 I had.

A - Dark coffee brown, medium tan head that decreases to thin layer of a lighter tan head.
S - Rich dark coffee with a bitter sweet chocolate.
T - Well balanced Trio of chocolate, roasted malt, and bitterness. Just the right amount of richness and bitterness is achieved to complement the milky chocolate finish.
M - Heaver side of medium body feel. Bitterness that's followed by roasted milk chocolate.
D - My preferred way to drink this beer is while snacking on blueberries and/or strawberries. The sweetness of the fruit and the rich bitterness of the beer are a amazing combo.

A-Deep, dark brown with some ruby highlights. A light tan head starts strong and reduces to a thin cap and leaves spotty lace.
S-A healthy dose of roast and chocolate...enough roast to make my wife exclaim WOW!
T-Smooth roasted malt and backing bitterness from the malt and the earthy hops.
M-Medium body with a full smooth feel. Good lingering bitterness and chocolate flavour.
D-A really nice, solid, all day drinking beer. Plenty of flavour without ever becoming too heavy.
