Pours a light reddish copper with a warm glowing haze. The off white head head is long lasting. An absolutely gorgeous looking beer.

Moderately strong hop aromas of pineapple, citrus and pine. There is light malt sweetness in there with a light alcohol aroma in there as well. Clean fermentation showing no esters nor diacetyl.

The initial flavor is of citrus and pineapple hops with a well balanced hop bitterness and malt sweetness. The bitterness lingers into a long medium dry finish. There are also light hop flavors of resinous pine and mango. The alcohol has a soft perfume quality in very low levels.

This beer has a medium body with moderate carbonation. there is a slight alcohol warmth. No astringency

This is an enjoyably bitter but balanced IPA that I could enjoy a few pints of in a sitting. The hops aroma and flavor are moderately strong and I like just a touch more of both but it's defiantly to style want.

bomber at blue water grill in skaneateles. the pours is really more like an amber, copper and rich in color, with an active and resilient white head. there is some haze, and this appears to be quite the lovely brew. the nose is sweet and hoppy, the darker malts give is some more fermentables, and the alcohol is in the nose too, would have guessed more like 7.5% abv. hops are in the pine family here, sappy and strong, as sweet as they are bitter in both taste and smell. the amber malt gives the beer a thicker body, nice for winter, and the carbonation is really lively, which lightens things up and improves upon an otherwise not incredibly sessionable mouthfeel. this is a big beer, bigger than its stats indicate, and is a nice bomber for sharing. it also think the darker malt profile makes it more of a sturdy ipa, which is nice in winter time. not sure how well i would have enjoyed this in july, but for now its darn good, and a solid first impression for me of cortland beer co. i will seek out more of their brews for sure. 11 bucks though was overpriced. not sure if it was the wealthy lakeside community inflation, or if this is a product of the brewery operation itself. either way, i wouldnt pay more than 8 bucks for a bomber of this again.

A-Cloudy orange, two finger head, good deal of carbonation and nice lacing.

S-Citrus and grassy hops with caramel balancing it out.

T-Starts with caramel malt and is rounded out by citrus hops. mild bitterness.

M-Medium bodied, carbonated and velvety.

O-A good IPA, most likely Cortland's best beer.

Cortland's Industrial IPA has a hazy, dark-golden body and an off-white head that is about a finger tall, has good retention, and leaves some scraps of lacing behind.

The aroma mixes pine and grapefruit with about equal parts malt.

I can't decide whether Industrial IPA is a balanced IPA or the hops have a slight nose between the two main ingredients, but either way, it manages to be a solid IPA without mouth-bending, tongue-twisting amounts of uneven hops in it. Leads off with a good, piney flavor and a good bit of bitterness; hints of grass are in there also. Next comes a blend of pale and caramel malts, with enough pale that it doesn't get to sweet or overpowering.

The beer overall stays fairly dry, with a medium body and carbonation that makes it feel a little heavier.

It's nice to come across a balanced IPA that I actually dig, because that doesn't happen often anymore. Good beer.

This is going to look like Suspects because we drank it together and i like to steal from him!!

Apperance: Very hazy orange in color. It appears to be really cloudy but upon checking the clear CBC growler, there is nothing at the bottom. It appears to be sediment free. Aggressive pour leads to a 1.5 finger head that sticks around and leaves nice, consistent lacing throughout.

Smell: Nice citrus and piney hop smell along with some definite malt backbone. Smells like a really well done IPA.

Taste: Great Hop taste! By far the best beer i have had from them

Mouthfeel: Bitter finish, perfectly carbonated, excellent aftertaste lingers a long time.

Overall: A Good IPA! I love that i can get it any time and they are now bottling it!!! I have had it on Tap, Growler, and from a bottle and is one that i Enjoy!

Poured from a growler into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.

A: Hazy orange in color. It appears to be really cloudy but upon checking the clear CBC growler, there is nothing at the bottom. It appears to be sediment free. Aggressive pour leads to a 1.5 finger head that sticks around and leaves nice, consistent lacing throughout.

S: Nice citrus and piney hop smell along with some definite malt backbone. Smells like a really well done IPA.

T: Nice bitter bite from the hops followed along by some nice malt presence.

M: Bitter finish, perfectly carbonated, excellent aftertaste lingers a long time.

O: A solid IPA and one that I really enjoy. I enjoy it way more knowing that it's local and the guys at CBC are solid and know their stuff.

The beer pours a hazy dark amber/orange color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a solid pale and caramel malt scent along with a wonderful piney hop aroma. It's an IPA with a good malt base. The taste is good as well. It has a smooth, malty flavor that sets the stage for a killer piney hop bitterness. It hits you up front and resinates in the finish. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a well brewed East Coast IPA. The malt bill provides adequate balance for the bold hop character.

My first ever cortland brew! On tap at JRyans

A- pours a hazy amber orange with a good off white head of foam. Goos lacing along the sides of the brew. Almost glows

S- good malty notes combine with a citrus orange hop scent. The maltyness finishes with some caramel scents. A very inviting scent as the ipa style goes

T- delicious! Pine and citrus are very strong with a great bitter taste as well. The malt is very forward with the brew just as the bitterness really lingers with the brew. Great sweet flavors as well

M- medium bodied with good lingering flavor of bitterness. Definitely a treat

D- industrial ipa presents a great display of bitterness. Good flavor is displayed throughout. I will be coming back to this brew fron the cortland brewing company
