Poured from a 22oz bottle into a standard shaker glass.
Pours a very clear golden color (almost bud clear) with a foam white head. There is no hop aroma to speak of at first smell.
My first drink it reminded me more of there Pale or Golden and less of a true IPA. It is very drinkable for an IPA, but for true hop heads this is not much of an IPA.
If you are looking for a beginners IPA try this, if not pass it by...

I was in Oregon on Business(Medford) and ran over to the Brewery.
I was impressed as the brewery had a tasting room, and a little pub, to sell pints and Growlers.
Spoke to the Brewer himself and the staff.
The IPA was as good, not exceptional, but still tasty.
Color was nice, smell was a little weak, and the hoppyness was not so complete. But enjoyable, and drinkable.
I would buy a six pack (If they bottled), but the growlers were a little pricey.

The "A" in IPA stands for "ale." If you brew an IPA with a lager yeast you're likely to end up with something short of what most of us understand to be an "ale." Such is the case here where yeasted, slightly sulfury overtones inhibit the formation of a cohesive IPA. In addition, hop flavor is minimal and hop aroma is absent.
SOB's IPA is chicken yellow with filtered clarity. But its intrusive yeasted qualities make it hardly discernable as an IPA.
