Basic party store with tons of area dedicated to wine, liquor and macros. Well lit with ample aisle space for wandering about. Finally located the craft beer section (unrefrigerated) which did offer a build your own six pack opportunity. The main reason I stopped here was to grab some FFF selections, and I was not disappointed. Plenty to choose from, as well as plenty other local and regional offerings not available in VA. I guess the flipside of this would be for the locals - plenty of stuff in there available back home in addition to the rare stuff. Bell's out the ass in here! If you can't find something you like, you are simply not trying hard enough! Service was very good, as two ladies offered help and advice on beer selections. They were both very eager to engage me in beer conversations and take MY advice on tasty ideas as well. None of that "we work here, therefore we know better than you" crap. Really nice people that enjoy beer. Good experience all around. I'd go back to this place without question.

I checked beerfly while I was out visiting school in Ft Wayne for Halloween weekend. Went here first after checking the website and seeing that everything is available in singles. First and foremost I was out for some FFF singles, and got a reasonable amount. (alpha king, pride and joy, gumballhead, Blackheart, Behemoth)
in the back there is some shelves along the back wall and in front of those shelves is another free standing shelf all with micros. In front of the entrance to the left was a shelf with beers they would not be receiving anymore. Plenty to choose from here. The great thing about mix a six packs here is you get 10% off a 6 pack, and 15% off 12 or more. Surprisingly good deal. One of the clerks there walked me around and suggested some beers I have not had before, and out of the selections he recommended so far they have all been very good or excellent.
The clerk also said that they(Belmont) had received 60 cases from Hair of the dog for all of Indiana's stores, so I made sure to pick up all of them (fred, adam, ruth). Also made sure to pick up some strong beers because Ohio has the ABV cap. They had 12 ounce singles of most of the Avery big ones (Mephistopheles, Beast, and Samael's), plus Samichlaus(which I was recommended). They also had some Nogne O, which I have never even seen before in my area(oddly).
Overall well worth the stop if you're in the area, the clerk said they would be installing fridges in the back where the craft beer currently sits in the future. I will be going back when given the chance again.

This store, in my opinion, has the best overall craft beer selection in town. Their beer shelves are always in a neat and organized manner and it is easy to see what they have. I have never bought any beers that apparently were not kept properly to where the purchased beers had gone bad. Always very friendly, very helpful and very courteous staff on every visit. This store appears to be a very clean environment. One would do themself justice by visiting this store to see what's new or what one has not tried yet.

Stopped in here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon wile in Fort Wayne with friends. First impressions was good, nice Big store with a pretty good selection of things. We came across quite a few beers I have not yet seen anywhere else as well as quite a few regulars you can find most places. Upon looking around though I started to get the feeling that their craft brews don't get shopped much. We came across quite a few old bottles, not necessarily a bad thing for the right beer if they were kept right. But I was coming across bottle after bottle of beers from 07 & things that was no longer brewed (stuff you would not want aged). I was also somewhat put off that they had a good size display of Unibroue stuff setting right in the front of the store where it can easily get direct sunlight, might as well say open the bottles & let them go flat as well if your going to park them in the sun.
Any way I picked up a mixed six along with a couple Bells Java stout that again was dated from 12/06/07. I had no problem with these as long as they were kept well.
But upon checking out the clerk pissed me off pretty good. I had one Flying Dog Horn Dog they he told me was not sold individual, so I told him there was several back there that was single along with a couple 4 packs as well as tagged as such. He walked back (I should had followed) came back up to me & said no this one was pulled from a full pack. I said no their are several loose singles right there as well which is where I got it. His reply again was their not sold separate even after myself & my friend both saw the tag for it. Not wanting to create a big deal over it I just said keep it & went on without it.
Over all I think they have a great selection of craft stuff as well as import. But I really think this place need to keep better tabs on their stocks age & how it kept. Along with hire some help with some personalty & common sense.

While two years ago this locations selections were not that good, this Belmont on Lima Rd now probably edges out the Dupont Rd location for having the best beer selection in Ft Wayne.
All the Indiana brews were grouped together, and the selection was very good with FFF, Warbird, Mad Anthony, Upland,Oaken Barrel, and Mishiwaka brewing selections among others. Above average section of Belgian beers. Decent selection of Stone, Dogfish Head, and Unibrue.Almost everything was available as a single, and you can mix and match six packs. A few rarities were to be found.
Store was clean , service was adequate.
