Got it from Romania,bottle 0,5L.
A-Huge white foam, lasting few seconds. Pale orange color, few bubbles in the glass.
S-A bit sweetish in the nose, but really very usual pale lager smell.
T/M-And again very usual pale lager taste. Maybe more carbonation, you could feel it in the aftertaste.
O-So usual and boring beer, but drinkable.

A: Dull/dirty/darker gold color but quite carbonated.
S: Thick, sweet, strangely 'heavy' in smell (thick as it passes through your nose) yet not a very strong smell.
T: Bitter, sour with an alcohol aftertaste.
M: Dry and slightly sandy.
O: The Romanians I was around didn't like it and said it causes hangovers, but I found it perfectly drinkable.

(Notes of 08/2007) At 4.8%abv., BB 25/04/2008, served chilled in a pint glass.
A: pale straw, lively fizz but fortunately not OTT, coming with a thin white foam.
S: metallic, very faint floral hop hints at the back, as well as lightly grainy notes plus some lemony sourness. Extraordinarily bland.
T: powdery hops and corn-ish malts, followed by a light yet rough bitterness, leaving very little of anything else to enjoy.
M&D: thin-bodied, fizzy, slightly watery... All in all, this lager is a waste of money to brew and to consume.

I (Wiseman Nick) tried this at a streetside bar in Sinaia, Romania a few days ago. Review written from notes.
Served in a .4L pilsener glass.
Appearance: Clear, pale yellow body with a big, soft, white head that actually retained pretty well. A blanket of lace trailed the head as it descended, but had little staying power on the glass walls. Pretty active carbonation could be seen within.
Smell: Faint. Lager yeast and sweet grains I suppose.
Taste: Sweet, lightly toasted grains, lager yeast, and mild grassy hops. Boring, but otherwise okay.
Mouthfeel: Prickly carb in a very light, malty body. Finished clean and pretty much tasteless.
Drinkability: Bland but inoffensive. I wouldn't order this again due to lack of character. A good beer for people who don't like beer.

This poured with a very nice white, frothy, foamy head and some lace. Almost no aroma. Head dissipates after a bit, but not completely. Flavor is a tad too sweet. Color is a light gold. Body is not too bad. Maybe a bit much for a sweet pale lager like this. Had another beer here that is way superior. This one's from a can. Ok in a pinch. Got this from a little kiosk up the street here in Bucharest with friend Anton this evening and rating it in our hotel room.

Picked up from Fidelio Supermarket in Iaşi, Romania.
Golden 50cl can with a yellow and blue crest and a mountain. A couple of possibly stylistic medals adorn the front of the beer. Some wild mottos in Romanian as well. Wish I could read them, I'm sure they're amazing.
Pours a darkish yellow-gold colour. Lots of coarse-bubbled carbonation, feeding a large buy collapsible white head of rocky foam. Minimal lacing. No retention.
Slight meaty aroma on the nose, and a hint of salt. Mostly, though, it's the CO2; an overcarbonated smell of seltzer water. I would have said something pleasant about it, but I can't really find anything. Pretty bland.
Taste is actually ok, but still pretty bland. It has a surprising sweetness on the front palate, even (although it's sacrilege to say it) a little reminiscent of the Belgian yeast character, which the dips to a quite biting hint of hops. I'm surprised just how good this is on the palate, given the appearance and smell were marking this as a complete dud. Yeah, it grows on you. Mouthfeel is still definitely suffering from the high carbonation though.
It's ultimately quite a drinkable brew, but there's a huge polarity gap between the smell and the taste. If you don't let your first impressions fool you, this one might just take you by surprise.

Beer bottle (50cl), tasted in 2005 (a picture of moutain).
Appearance : pale gold color, sustaining white head.
Smell : Aroma gives pale grainy malt character.
Taste and mouthfeel : malty, bittery grassy hops.
Drinkability : an average beer in Pale lager style
My review number 500.

The second beer in my Eastern European lager afternoon and as far as I can remember, my first ever Romianian beer of any sort.
Browm 50cl bottle with a BBD of 14th May 2008,it was drank on a sunny but cold Saturday in Feb 2008.
The beer was poured into my little Veltins Pilsner glass two and a half times.
Pale, clear and golden body, large white head, very little carbonisation, as in few bubbles rising to the head. The head by the way soon fell away to a thin covering and collar.
The normal 3 score for a non-smelling lager/pilsner.
Almost tasteless (like Bitburger), it is dry cardboard with K9P dripped on the make it wet. Very weak on the alcohol feel as well, the bottle claims 4.8%, it seemed more like a 3.0% to me.
This is one of the worst beers I've ever had and why anyone would go to the trouble of importing it into the UK is beyond me.
Avoid like the plague.

AndoBrew brought back a shlew of Romanian beers from his recent European excursion. I'm told Romanian beer can be a real special treat. Here's hoping!
Apperance: Pours a clear, light yellow body with a fizzy white head. Lightly effervescent.
Smell: Exceedingly light pale malts with a touch of spicy hops. The aroma is marred by the addition of cooked musty vegetables.
Taste: Thin, weak maltiness with a subtle sweetness and some spice-minded hops are thrown under the bus by that darned vegetal flavor which rides the tongue through to the finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly unpleasant. This is indeed a bad start to the Night of Romanian Beers.
