Copper, clear, nice off white lace.
Smell is lemon merengue, sweet malt, marmelade.
Taste is also malty, tons of that iced-tea flavor uou get from two much crystal malt. With the citrus hops, it's remiscent of lipton, with a dry, fairly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is medium+, dry.
Drinkability isn't killer to my taste In IPA, not a fan of the iced tea with modest hops by local standards. As far as any old ale though, it was easy enough to slurp down.

A deep musty rusty brown color with a big off-white head and chunky lacing. The aroma brings doughy grapefruit with a heavy yeast idea. Interesting and fairly likeable. The flavor brings an odd collection of tart sweet lemon and vanilla yeast and orange malt. Very interesting but not quite getting to my IPA needs. It grows on you but the hops are largely lost in a sugary yeast theme. This brew is medium-light bodied with frothy carbonation and feel. Unique and a memorable IPA but this probably won’t work for all IPA lovers.

Thanks to 5000 for sending this can my way.
The beer pours an orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and grass notes, with not much else coming through. The flavor is more pronounced. I get a lot of the orange and pine notes from the hops, as well as some biscuit malt and a low to medium amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Side-note: I originally had this beer (about two weeks prior) in a can (for a roadie) and was amazed...and was hoping for another chance to review...this time in a bomber-bottle...
P:1 Pint, 6ozs brown bottle with a simple lime-green label with hops illustrated ...
Appearance: Hazy orange/copper beer with a patchy cream off-white foam head that clings to the sides of the glass.
Smell: Very pronounced malts & hop aromas, marmalade with background sweet malts and a heavy bready grain aroma.
Taste: Big malts! This is has some orange peel light hop feel, but mostly malty...
Mouthfeel is a medium carbinated beer with a malty thick full-body.
Taste: The initial taste is malts with orange peel, followed by an some hops...
Mouthfeel A medium/heavy beer with medium (decent) carbination that is heavy, yet smooth...
Notes: This one I first saw (in a can) at an independent grocery store near where I live. I loved how smooth it was...I looked forward to sitting down to review either finding it on tap, or in a bottle...I found it at another market (similar to Whole Foods) in a 22 ozs bomber...Although still smooth, not as good as I remembered it in the can...maybe I was so impressed canned beer could be so good (compared to other macro beers)...after all, kegs are canned beer to eh?!...Chasin' Cheers :~)

Appearance is a hazy amber supporting a healthy thick head. Smell is sweet with the caramel malt with piney hops and citrusy fruit. Taste has the sweetness from the malt and a bitter "twang"if you will, from the hops and yeast. Mouthfeel is light medium with good carbonation. A little off in the flavor profile with the twanginess, but still has that base for an IPA.

Thanks to pwnzilla for this stubby little can. So used to seeing a Surly can in my paw that this seems like it's made for kids. It isn't. I don't think. 12 oz. can poured into a pint glass.
Looks like an IPA, light orange with only a slight haze, but rich in carbonation. Nose is on the meadowy side, lots of grassiness & a strong floral piece. Faint citrus.
Evolutionary IPA doesn't cut it on the West Coast scene. Initial impression is there's not much initial impression. Lots of sweet malts up front, with a background bitterness that slowly builds for about six seconds after the swallow. Bit of grapefruit, maybe citrus, but the taste is more resinous than any specific hoppy-like taste. I do like that stickiness.
I can't imagine this beer is going to compete well with all the crazy good IPAs on the West Coast. Not bad by any means, this is actually a good beer, but it has Ron Jeremy-stiff competition on its hands. If a balanced IPA is your thing, go grab some.

Pours amber into a Deschutes tulip.
Nice two finger head retains well. Good lace pattern.
Smooth balanced flowery with plenty of hop flavor.
Aftertaste very pleasant. No cloy whatsoever.
A very good West Coast representation of the style.
Two Beers makes it very easy to drink local.

Thanks to Francois for cracking this.
Light fizzy head, clear amber reddish orange color.
Nose simcoe and citra, grapefruit - tropical fruit but not musty resin, hint of tangerine citrus, no malt.
Taste nice tropical fruit, light grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine with light citrus, hint if musty resin, light pine, decent bitterness. Finish is somewhat bitter, dry, lingering piny and tropical fruit hops, long bitter.
Mouth is med bodied, decent carb but less than I expected for can.
Overall nice, good hops, not too bitter, refreshing, nice tropical fruit without resin.
