500 mL bottle into a tulip glass. (Quite pricey)
A - Caramel/amber color, a bit cloudy. Large off-white rocky head with a good retention and an excellent lacing. Simply beautiful!
S - Very hoppy as expected, dominated by piney, floral and resiny notes. Malt in backbone and some spiciness.
T/M - A lot of aromatic hops going on at first. Medium-high bitterness, well balanced by the malt. Medium to full body. Alcohol is a bit noticeable, adding some spiciness. Overall, the mouthfeel is very smooth.
O - Great beer, well thought out! Seek it out!

500 ml bottle purchased out of the cooler at Peluso, Montreal. No obvious date code. I assume this is a one-off (it is not listed on the brewery's website).
Cloudy orange-amber color with an off white creamy head. Good retention and lacing.
Malty aroma with shortcake and a bit of caramel punctuated with herbal and grassy hops. The flavor is fairly typical for the old English style IPA with a nice balance between an interesting malt profile and some earthy/herbal hops. Dry with a herbal, bitter finish.
Medium body with a light carbonation, appropriate for the style. A tasty IPA and one of the better Canadian versions I have tried. Recommended!
