Pours an almost opaque reddish brown with a thin tan head. Smells of vanilla bean and some cherry. A bit of wood in the aroma as well. Taste begins with some maple syrup, then some hearty bread, followed by some tart cherries, and finishes with a clean bourbon. The aftertaste has some vanilla in it. Mouthfeel is rich. Overall an excellent beer, a nice choice for their 5th anniversary.

P: Dark mahogany body with a dollop of cappuccino froth.
S: Bourbon is definitely the star here. Toasted coconut, vanilla, and toasted oak.
T/M: Roasted barley, bitter cocoa, oak soaked bourbon, light roast coffee and rolled oats. Prickly carbonation in a medium-full body. Finishes bitter and slightly chalky.
O: The bourbon complements nicely and isn't overpowering. A great way to celebrate a 5 year anniversary.
