Living in Vegas can be great, and at the same time it can really suck, especially if you want good beer. That was until I discovered Khoureys. At Khoureys, service is second to no beer store that I have ever been in. Issa, the owner and his wife have developed an atmosphere in there that just feels welcoming, even to somebody like myself who knows little about beer when compared with some of the real BA's here. They will tell you what is new to their store, what is rare, what they recommend and impressions of the beers that they have tried. They carry a decent selection, and always have beers here that nobody else in Vegas carries. Prices are usually slightly higher then the bigger name stores in town, but I always give my money to Khoureys because of the selection and the service.
To top it off, they let you buy a beer, will open it for you, and serve it to you in the proper glassware. For me, that's relaxation at it's best. They usually have 3 decently rare beers on tap at any time, without loud music, without smokers, and without slot machines. Sort of peaceful. And the crowd that they attract know their beer as well, so it's always fun to go in there and strike up a conversation.

As a beer lover, there is no other liquor store in town for me. I may make the occasional visit to Aces or Total or Lee's or Whole Foods, but Khoury's is the hippest beer place in town. This is the only place where you can sit down at a bar and enjoy a craft beer, either one from the tap or one from the fridge, and NOT have to listen to slot machines or blaring music. That's right folks, this is a unique place. This is a place with an intimate setting and fine beverages, and sometimes you don't even feel like you are in Vegas. I know, I know, it is blasphemous to the Vegas "scene" to be without slot machines or loud music, but it is the best scene in Vegas.
I've been coming to Khoury's for the past few months on most Wednesday nights when they have beer tastings. I've purchased sour beers from Khoury's from breweries such as 3 Fonteinen and Contillon. I've had Dogfish Head 120, Deschutes Black Butte XIII, barrel aged Black Hole from Mikkeller, funky Joly Pumpkin Farmhouse Ales, Maui IPA's. The list goes on. I've tasted many beers that just aren't available in Vegas, from Russian River sours to Great Divide barley wines. This place, my beer loving friends, is the mecha for beer, the best beer in town.
Khoury's also features great wines. There is a wine tasting every Thursday night. On both Wednesdays and Thursdays food trucks accompany the tastings. The best thing about this place is the knowledge that the owner has for his product. Issa, a native to Nevada, has such a vast experience with wine, beer, and liquors, and offers expert advice and opinions on the products he carries. Issa is the little guy in town that fights for distribution among the big boys for the finest beverages that come to this city, and he usually wins because he knows his stuff.
Folks, if you take beer or wine seriously, Khoury's is worth the drive no matter what part of the valley you live in. I drive weekly all the way from the west side of town to partake in this rare oddity of subculture and escape from the generic Vegas scene. Khoury's offers this town something that it has never seen, and I want more Vegas residents to have a chance to appreciate it!

This is my kind of place; everything here is about "quality".
The Owner (Issa) is a local favorite among beer fans because we know he's working harder than anyone to bring additional variety and quality to this town...and we need people like that to fight the good fight. He's getting it done.
They have (currently) three rotating taps, each of which is always something solid. There are some granite like round tables in the seating area, with about (4) comfortable chairs at each table. They also have a bar at which you can sit and admire the Wall of Fame bottles in front of you that have been consumed by some lucky souls sometime in the past.
Buying bottles and drinking them in his bar area is all good...so, whether you want the draft items or a selection from his quality inventory, you'll always know that when you come here, you'll be drinking something you really like.
Enough preaching...you need to check this place out first hand. Once you do that, you'll see why all of us that live here put this place on a pedestal.

This is a great place and I was happy to find it after moving from Orange County out to Vegas.
First off the atmosphere at Khoury's is amazing. The shop is always well laid out and clean. The location is in a nice part of town and is tucked away in a small strip mall. Look for the sign on Eastern in case you get frustrated in finding the store.
Quality is the key when it comes to Khoury's. Issa the owner makes it a priority to get the very best beer available. The prices are on par with other beer stores in town and sometimes cheaper.
Service is the reason why I come to Khoury's and not Lee's, Total Wine or Whole Foods for beer. Issa and his staff are always very friendly and helpful. They are always informative when it comes to upcoming releases.
The selection is getting better and better as time goes on. Coming from Orange County I was a bit jaded and spoiled with the beer selection but Issa and crew do a great job offering the best beer Vegas gets! The beer taps are a very nice addition to the store. The tap selection is always rotating and there is always a variety of styles. (for instance you wont see 3 pale ales on tap)
The value is great as Khoury's prices are on par with the rest of stores in town but they offer what they can't which is great service. The beer taps are a great value.
I highly recommend Khoury's to anyone in Las Vegas or anyone visiting!

Khoury's is most certainly a great place to go for any vegas local. Issa the owner is always helpful and a delight to speak to. If you ever call for a stock check and he has the beer in there he'll hold it for you you which is always a plus. A+ for selection in relation to what we have here in Vegas. Issa is always quick to get new beer in store (as quickly as distributors will allow). If possible check our the beer meet-up Wednesday nights, good people, great brew in Vegas' best bottle shop.
Never had a bad experience at Khoury's and I don't think I ever will.

This is my favorite place in town to go and get beer.
The people here are amazing and now with the draft beers they are doing, it is great to grab a beer while you shop. The prices for these are great, much less than any bar in town and always very fresh. The staff will make recommendations if you need, and will make sure to at least contact you when you walk into the store (or at least shortly after).
The selection is killed because it is Vegas, and Vegas is horrible at getting any sort of distribution of a good product on a regular basis. That said, the owner (Issa) will always try to get new things in and is always willing to listen if you have a suggestion of a beer for him to look for.
They have a pretty good selection of inidividual bottles, and while they aren't cold, they will let you switch them out if you ask which is a definete plus.
While they don't have food, on some of the most recent Wednesday nights, we have had our beer meet-ups here and there have been slider trucks present. Which is about as convinient as possible for a place without their own food.

A great place to try something new. A friend turned me on to Khoury's and now it's a regular stop for me on my way home from work. 3 taps with some interesting choices including Firestone Walker Double Jack, Dogfish Head Midas Touch and Ommegang Belgian Pale Ale. Get a pint and wander the store filled with interesting beer, wine and whiskey selections including many beers broken out to singles, if you want to try before you commit to a six. Knowledgeable staff, welcoming environment and beer tastings on Wednesday nights. My favorite beer store in the Vegas Valley.

I went here expecting the same old beers that are available in Vegas but to my surprise I found lots that I have not seen anywhere else. They had a very friendly staff who asked me several times if I needed help or suggestions and had comments on the Urthel Hop-It I bought. The selection was smaller that that available at Lee's but there seemed to be a lot of different selection. They had Nøgne Ø, Avery, and Jolly Pumpkin beers which you don't see often in Vegas. All in all a wonderful little gem that I will for sure go back to again in the near future.

This was the second stop on my beer hunting adventure in Vegas.
This is mainly a wine shop with some high quality beer. A decent selection of Belgians along with some New Belgium, Firestone Walker and Stone brews. I think, though, that I may have more craft beer in my cellar than they do in this store, though they have three cases of VE 08.08.08 and I only have one!
Nice, but missable. The VE was the only thing I did not also see at Lee's. There is also a Lee's down the street which has about everything you can get here. Nice people, though.

Near Eastern and St Rose Parkway, tucked back in a strip mall somewhat out of view. Easy to drive past if you're not paying attention.
Quality of the beers was good, although the last few times I've been in this Khoury's the selection seemed to be diminishing. hopefully it is a temporary problem.
Service has always been very good. Friendly and generally knowledgeable folks here to help you out.
Pricing was in line with their competitors.
All in all a nice place to shop. Their selection isn't nearly as large as their main competitors, Lee's, but the service was for the most part much more pleasant.
