The bruery is a cool spot to grab some pretty good begian style beers in OC located off the 57 FWY and has a laid back atmosphere and barrels that are used for seating in the warehouse area. The sraff is not always as friendly as I would think but I can over look that cause they do have great special releases at time. The selection is decent consisting of their 5 year round brews and seaonals on rotation. They only serve their house beers and never have guest taps so you can get too excited on variety. I think the best time to roll to the brewery is when they have special events cause they'll have food and some pretty rare stuff on tap. Pretty cool place to stop by if your in placentia.

This brewery is located in an odd place and I was expecting the facility to be bigger but what I found when I got there was pretty cool too. There's an office and to the right is a warehouse door with a taco truck in front. You walk through the door and you're in the brewhouse/bar of The Bruery. Straight in front as you walk in is the brewing silos, to the right of the silos is a small bar with a cooler for to go beers and to the right of the bar are a bunch of oak barrels. The beer list above the bar is their normal line up. No black tuesday, chocolate rain or any of the special christmas beers like partridge in a pear tree or 2 turtle doves which I was bummed about since I was hoping to get some. The service was great, it was just 2 guys running the bar and that's the only employees I saw since it was a sunday afternoon but there were still about 10 other people in there. I just had a beer and got a tulip glass and left. Nice place and nice people.

Went by here on a recent trip thanks to Jeff - thanks for driving!

Atmosphere is good. It's in an industrial park and the outside door faces a grass bank and a road, but once you're inside you'll find an enticing number of barrels and a small bar among the brewing equipment. Very spartan but it gets the job done.

Quality is good. Proper pours were received for all beers in propoer glassware.

Service is good. I didn't have to wait long for a drink as they turned people over quickly and everyone was friendly.

Selection was pretty good. I must have come on an off day because the only non-standard selections were Papier, Trade Winds, and Hottenroth, however even those three with the three standards is nothing to sneeze at.

Value is good. The Papier seemed a bit expensive for what was poured but everything else was very reasonable priced, including the growlers.

Overall this place is worth a stop, especially judging by their normal tap lists.

Visited the Tasting Room on Sunday and its a very good one. About a 45 minute drive from where I was in Santa Monica. About a half dozen of their beers on tap. Lots of bottles, including some specials, including the 3 melange which I gladly bought for WomenCantSail and another Bruery reserve member. None of their brewers about this holiday weekend. Very friendly though not as fancy as say Avery's tasting room. Good time, reasonable prices. No guest taps, thats over 13 minute drive to Bruery Provisions.

Was so stoked to get to go to this place while vacationing. Place is definately an operating brewery as it smells funny. Lots of seating. Have pre made sampler lists that you hand the server or you can write in five of your own selections. Samplers of five are typically around seven to ten dollars. Great beers, high quality and quirky selections. Tours of brewery available from what I understand but I didn't partake. Place is pretty self service so if you just sit at a table, you're not likely to get waited on. Good overall experience.

I had been hearing about this place and seeing their beers for sale occasionally and became curious. I went here for the first time a few weeks ago with a friend.
The atmosphere is pretty nice, I think it's kinda neat that the tasting room is also the brewing area. They only have a limited number on tap (5 or 6) but still enjoyed my time there. We both bought a flight of 5 different beers and we were allowed to keep the tulip glass for only $8. A great deal.
People seem really nice and prompt.
Had a few more then left with a growler. All in all a fun little place, I will definitely return here more often, but probably just for a quick pint and pop out with a growler fill.

The Bruery's tasting room is located in an industrial area in Placentia. The tasting room is actually in the brewery so you are surrounded by fermentation tanks and barrels of aging brew. This is actually pretty cool.

They were pouring 5 beers when I was there. You can get 5 two-ounce tasters for $8 plus you get to keep the glass. They also sell 12 oz pours of any of their beers for $5-6. They also have growlers but only a few of the beers were available for growler fills.

The servers were very friendly and definitely knew their stuff. There is no food.

It's definitely worth a stop, especially if you love The Bruery's beers.

I had had a few of the bruerys beers at some local beer fests and when I found out that Koqi bbq was gonna be out front on a Friday night I had to go. So packed up the wife and kid and headed out to the tasting room. Its a small non describt brewery in a run down commercial building lot.

When you 1st get to the tasting room you take a quick scan around and see the big tanks, the barrels of liquid gold and the drooling starts.

The small bar houses about 5 chairs and there is a few more scattered around the room for people to stand.

The taps in the back had 10 operating when I was there so for 10 bucks got 10 tasters to decide what to go back for. Went back for the Rugbrod and the Saison. Great beers. Have since picked up quite a few bottles for the collection.

Nice guys and nice brews with good food. It was a good Friday.

The Bruery is my hometown Brewery. The name is always a pain because when you say it, people usually do not get it. "Which Brewery?" But explanations aside, it is fantastic. The beers here can range from quite bad to jaw-droppingly fantastic. They will have your normal Bruery beers, but they also have some great beers that they make for the tasting room only. Humulus Lager is my favorite of the beers that regularly appear in the tasting room.

Service is mostly good. It can be too good sometimes, because they spend too long explaining to people what the beers are and offering tasters when there is a line out the door. This is bad. But the barkeeps are generally nice. The atmosphere is OK. being surrounded by barrels is cool, the brewery is fine as well, but you must stand. Sometimes it can get too crowded (Nobody goes there when it is too crowded)

The hours are a bummer, this place could fill up 7 nights a week, but then when would they make the beer?

A must visit for the beers, just make sure you show up on the weekend.

Went here the night before their Barrel Aged Tasting Festival. A pretty small bar set up. This didn't stop anybody from packing this place though. They had 10-15 of their own beers on tap along with various bottles in their cooler. The staff was knowledgeable but seemed a litlle small given the amount of people who were there. It took roughly 15 minutes to get my beer. They have a small rack full of discounted gear near the far wall. There are a few tables and barrels that serve as a place to rest your drink. Their brewing equipment takes up most of the space in this building. I got to try their Humulus Lager there for the first time. Nice little setup. Great to finally visit.
