Poured from the cask to my Bruery tasting glass. Only would've been more fitting if it was a coffee mug.
Appearance - Flat as a pancake. Beer was a super murky looking brown. I know this was from a cask but it looked like sewage.
Smell - Well, not judging this one by its cover...smelled fantastic. Very similar to the coffee and vanilla variation. Basically, remove vanilla aromas, add mocha aromas. Done.
Taste - Coffee with sugar mixed with delicious booze. Very interesting flavors, the mocha lending a nice chocolatey/coffee component to pre-existing flavors within the base of Black Tuesday. Good stuff.
Mouthfeel - No difference when compared to regular Black Tuesday. Both carry that smooth, lucious mouthfeel with a slight nip of alcohol in the end.
Overall - Glad I was given the chance to try it. Not amongst my favorite Black Tuesday variations, but enjoyable none-the-less. Would like them to do something a little more eccentric with the flavors next time...

On cask for the Bruery Initiation Celebration held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA.
Pours an almost opaque super dark brown with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and a pretty intense coffee aroma. Taste is much the same with an earthy coffee flavor and an alcohol kick on the finish. There is a mild amount of roasty bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is super coffee forward but having it on cask diminishes the experience in my opinion.

On cask at the 2013 RS Initiation Party.
A: Pours dark, opaque brown with no head or bubbles. Looks flat.
S: Smells straight up like sniffing medium-roast coffee grounds, very in your face, along with and very dark chocolate bar. The strong coffee aroma but somewhat balanced by sweet chocolate.
T: Very potent coffee and dark cocoa, liquid chocolate, a long finish with mild coffee bitterness and a moderate sweetness.
M: VERY thick like chocolate syrup, sticky, with a tinge of carbonation.
O: This would be much better if they dialed back the coffee and chocolate. Not particularly drinkable as is. Not as good as regular BT, but I appreciate the effort. No vanilla or barrel to speak of.

Just had this gem at the Bruery Reserve/Hoarder's Society Initiation Celebration.
Smell: Wow. African Mocha, rich, roasty coffee.
Taste: All of the beautiful goodness of Black Tuesday, full mouthfeel, roasty and sweet, but with a slightly astringent, full roast (no wimps here!) coffee presence that demands love & respect.
Mouthfeel: Full, present, in your face, but not overly chewy.
Finish: Bliss. Roastiness drops off slightly to the full, sweet, malty, chocolaty leaning graces of Black Tuesdayp--but Mocha still says "I'm here."
I really liked this one. Almost as good as the coffee version of Black Tuesday done for the Black Tuesday Release Party. And also, a nice cversion to offer to contrast with Gray Monday.
