I tried the whole Portola series at The Bruery and this was by far the best. The coffee flavor was really extreme and pleasant. Smells like putting your nose into a nice french pressed coffee. There was very little head or carbonation. I highly recommend trying this if you see it anywhere.

App- This in the glass looked like dirty soda water. The color threw me, but retained that nice density and the 1/2" of bubbles with a pancake ring as similar to Patzun.
Smell- This one smelled more like the pure coffee bean aroma. A bit strong and full. A small balanced red malty aroma. Nice aromatics.
Taste- The coffee flavor is on this one, but its more of the exotic coffee flavor. Solid and strong but not shattering. The red ale, does balance this one out a bit better and isnt so overpowering. A bit of bean and spice as well.
Mouth- This is probably the most prickly of all the variants. A semi-light medium body with a nice thicker bubbly medium carbonation.
Drink- Its a good variant. Still going in order of how I liked them.
