Share with rudzud.
Erupts slightly and pours a nice fluffy but fizzy 2 finger head that fades semi slowly, lots of soapy lacing, super murky mahogany almost purplish red like color.
Nose is lots of Belgian aromas, lots of esters, light phenols that present a booze that's like 8-9% instead of less than 5%. Some biscuit, dark caramel syrupy like malts, but still seems light. Fruity esters mostly take over, hint of Belgian yeast spices too. Not bad so far.
Trade starts with a light bitter tart fruit, super over carbonated and a bit of infection like. Yeasty, light biscuit malt, light Belgian dark malts and candy syrup. Hint of Belgian yeast spices, faint esters and phenols, taste like it should be boozy but not really. The faint infection like taste really destroys the beer. Hint of dark fruits and nuts, but somehow feels really light overall. Finish is drier, a weird light hydrogen peroxide taste from the ridiculous carbonation and infection like funk, very light feel, light fruits and nuts, sticky syrup.
Mouth is lighter bodied, waaaay too much carb, and overall feels thin for what it should be.
Overall not great, nose is nice, but the taste really dies, slight infection, weird hydrogen peroxide, way too much carb, very thin, just bleh.

Thanks to Monkeymagic72 for the bottle.
A: Brownish/Reddish Hue, Passes Mild Light, Thick White Fizzy Head, Some Lacing that fades quickly
S: Bready, Yeast, Crackers, Mild Dark Fruit
T: Bready, Yeast, Mild Belgian Sugar, Mild Plum
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Grainy
Overall, this was very underwelming, just not much to it for flavor profile, especially for a Belgian Dark, just seemed rather bland and boring.

A - Clear red-brown with a finger of frothy tannish head. Fades fairly slowly.
S - Sweet caramel and dark caramel malts, dark fruits, Belgian yeast, some spices, touch of nuttiness.
T - Sweet caramel and dark caramel malts, raisins, plums, and other dark fruits, Belgian yeast, some spices, some nuttiness.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a fruity and lightly sweet finish.
D - Great mild Belgian Dark Ale. Complex and well balanced.

Nice red and brown color, some ruby edges to it, soft off white head, only about 3/8" in depth.
Aroma was a nutty maltiness, almost like a red ale, but then it had a very faint Belgian aroma, super mild banana to it, dang, why can't hefe producers makes them something a little more restrained yeastwise like this is.
Very mild flavor profile. Its there. It still shares some characteristics flavorwise comparable to a red ale. But a belgian red with belgian yeast. Cereal grains. No hops, but a weird bitter bite to it, unwelcome in a low abv mild beer like this. Very bready cereal type stuff going on, even if the thickness and viscosity still remains in session country.
A little dark fruit aspect in the mouthfeel. Some spice accoutrement that isn't welcome. Dark candy additions. Complex, yet mild, yet not mild enough. I don't see this beer being made again. I'd frankly prefer the Ovila Dubbel to this any day.

Shared with JLindros and poured into a Kate the Great tulip.
A - Poured a muddy off chestnut hue with a killer one finger white head head that just slumped slightly and hangs around indefinitely.
S - Aromas of sweeter sugar malts and Belgian fruity esters. Smells deceivingly good. Very good.
T - Taste is a metallic disappointment. Malty Belgian esters but...slight fruits . Those metallic off flavors is just ...meh. unfortunate. Very unfortunate.
M - Mouthfeel is a bit overcarbonated here which explains why it was a slow gusher.
O - Overall I was very disappointed with this provision series beer. Glad I only had the one bottle.

Pours a dark chestnut brown with a fluffy ivory head that never really fades, resulting in a 2-finger cap. Light aromas of brown sugar, dark fruit, caramel, and Belgian yeast. Kinda reminds me of a Dubbel. Taste is pretty similar to the nose, more toffee and caramel, dark fruit, and phenolic Belgian yeast. Not bad, and I get what they were going for, but really nothing special. Mouthfeel is light and drinkable, with a medium-thin body and good carbonation. Just an ok beer, nothing to get excited over.

A: poured a brown in color with pale yellow highlights and a very thin head that left almost no la cing sticking to the glass.
S: some banana sweet belgian yeast was noticeable upfront on the nose with toffee, hints of dark fruits, slight pear notes, brown sugar sweetness and mild booze coming through as well.
T: toffee brown sugar sweetness was more apparent on the palate alongside belgian yeasty character, sark fruits such as raisins, pear indertones, some slight tart character and boozy accents which were well balanced.
M: the brew was nedium in body with a low amount of carbonation which had a sweet, dark fruity, yeasty and a thin and sticky finish.
O: I thought it was a solid dark belgian all around. But was a tad thin.
