A: A very light yellow body with almost no head.
S: Very strong funk. One of the strongest I've ever had. Incredibly sour with some wine in the background.
T: Very acidic to start off. It then transitions to a white wine flavor. Grapes come up next. It finishes with a subtle creamy texture.
M: Nice and heavy and silky body. The carbonation is a little low but still good.
O: Very interesting. Very good.

A - Light, hazy soft yellow. Light carbonation and no head
S - Tart vinegar, lemon, sweet Chardonnay grape, slight butter
T - Tart white vinegar up front that almost makes you pucker. There is lemon, light oak, and slight butter. Finish is lots of tart vinegar that lingers near the end.
MF - Light carbonation, slight astringent and dry. Actually rather creamy and buttery beer in the middle
O - Solid sour with nice vinegar tartness. Slight buttery, creaminess that you don't always find which make it nice and slightly different than normal

750ml bottle into a tulip
A: Talk about an odd pour - I poured vigorously to get maybe an inch of very large bubble head - looked like it was more agitation than carbonation. Then, the beer began to fizz and I got a film of dense bubbles which receded extremely quickly. After this, I can see bubbling throughout the beer but absolutely zero head left atop the beer. It is a very nice clear golden color, though.
S: Strong lemony, lactic acid aroma is most evident, with a bit of acetic acid in the background. I get strong chardonnay aromas, a bit buttery but not overwhelming. I also get some horse blanket funk in there add to the complexity. This beer actually smells quite nice.
T: And all the great complexity I got in the aroma is completely gone. This tastes like a mixture of lemon, orange, and grape juice. Not as in I get flavors reminding me of those juices, as in it actually tastes like a mixture of those juices.
M: Basically flat and on the thick side.
O: The aroma of this beer is tremendous. Very complex. The flavor, though, is not good. I guess there were no flavors that were actually bad, it's just the beer tastes like a mixture of juices. I wasn't expecting a ton from this beer, but I didn't exactly expect this.
I'm not sure I've ever had a beer with such a difference in the quality of the smell and the flavor.

Thanks merc, back to back with the Pinot lambicus
The beer pours a cloudy light golden yellow with no head. The nose is slightly sweet with slight notes of grape. The taste is very tart with a light grape/oak and distinct sourness. This beer's mouthfeel is intensely sour with a dry & sweet finish. It's very tart (cantillon tart) with a slightly nutty after-aftertaste. Great beer, better than the Pinot lambicus, that's definitely a serious sour.

A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, No Head, No Lacing
S: Apricots, Chardonnay
T: Apricots, Grapefruits, Chardonnay
M: Mediocre Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Sour, Mildly Tart
Overall, pretty solid wine barrel sour beer, nice chardonnay, not much sweet grape flavor.

Thanks for this, ObeMaltKinobee!! Love them Bruery sours.
Appearance. Pours a light, hazy straw-gold with no head to speak of, just some fine bubbles in the liquid that don't really seem to even make it to the surface.
Smell. Some sweet wheat and sour white wine grapes along with some great funky barrel. There's a bit of lemon and saltine crackers as well.
Taste. Sour green grapes, lemons and a little apple. Some of that nice oak and funk, and even the saltine crackers that I was smelling, complete with salt. Nice tasting stuff. Where's the booze??
Mouthfeel. Medium+ body with low carbonation.
Overall. A great tasting (and smelling) brew. Could have used a little more carbonation, but it's a small complaint.

look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 4
Appearance: Pours a pale golden color without much of a head; looks rather like a white wine with just a few bubbles lazily drifting from the bottom of the glass
Smell: Funk and tartness, with a white wine grape character that rounds out the aroma
Taste: The white wine grape, oak and sour flavors merge, up front, with the yeasty funk adding complexity in the middle; the oak as well as a hint of sweetness build in the finish
Mouthfeel: On the thin side of medium-bodied with very little carbonation
Overall: A worthy wild that verges into the vinous territory
Thanks, bobertkuekn, for bringing this to share at the ORF release
