Screw all these naysayers. Alcoholic, carbonated raspberry puree FTW!
Pours reddish pink with a big pinkish foam head. Surprisingly bubbly.
Smells overwhelmingly redolent of raspberries. Like getting hit with a raspberry sledge hammer. Faint wisps of acidic lemon ... oak?
Taste is a bit more balanced with ... oh, who am I kidding. It's a raspberry assault with a surprisingly amount of dry, wood-sy/lemon-y sourness balancing the crazy fruit-forward flavor. I'd be interested to see what happened to this with a few years on it, but sadly no bottles to be had.
Wish I'd bought two growlers of it. Great effervescent mouthfeel.

Clusterfork #7
A - Hazy bright pinkish colored with a short lived, fizzy white head.
S - Sweet raspberries up front, slight tartness in the nose, with a slightly sweet bready malt aroma.
F/M - Sweet bready malts mixed with a pleasant, but a little lighter than I expected, fresh raspberry flavor. Tartness is light, but noticeable and adds a bit of complexity to an otherwise simple beer. Light esters mix with the fruits to add a little more fruity flavor. Nice dry finish with a medium light body and moderately high carbonation.
O - A pretty nice, refreshing fruity beer. Plenty of fruit flavors, but otherwise simple and easy to enjoy. Pretty much like a light Belgian wit beer with a huge dose of fresh raspberry flavor.

App- A nice mix of purples and pinks. A bit like juice in the glass. Poured with a good one finger head to it.
Smell- Raspberries open this one immediately and then a small tart aciditic note comes in. Was a bit tamed for what I was expecting but very nice aromatics
Taste- A light mix of tart fruit notes with a ton of raspberry notes. A little tart and a little funk but not too much.
Mouth- A very nice little wild with a light/medium body and a carbonation to match.
Drink- This started the day off with a lot to look forward to in the wild/sour/fruit beer with St. Lam, Blushing Monk and Framboozled all coming out and this held its own.

On-tap at the Bruery
A: The beer pours a completely opaque purple-red color with a fizzy pinkish head that is poorly retained.
S: Pure raspberry on the nose. Really, not much else to talk about. The nose is dominated by the sweet fruitiness and maybe there's a bit of raspberry soda. Only a mild sourness.
T: As with the nose, a mild sourness and lemon character that is almost overwhelmed completely by the intense raspberry flavor. There is a bit of grass to it, but it's really a really simple flavor profile. As it warms up, there's a slight acetic note.
M: The body is medium with a medium carbonation.
O: This wasn't bad, it just didn't have much going on with it. If you really like raspberries, it would be great. I was hoping for more sourness.

Appearance: Cloudy medium purplish-pink color. Fairly thin light pink head that quickly faded. Nice looking beer.
Smell: Barnyard funk and raspberry.
Taste: Tart raspberry, slight funk and mild acetic notes. i thought it was good tasting but i prefer a bit more sour.
Mouth-feel: Medium body with a fair level of carbonation.
Overall: I like this beer but it's a step behind my favorite of the Raspberry wild ales (Framboise De Amorosa). I wouldn't mind a bit more sour but this is a tasty refreshing summer beer
Reviewed less than 24 hours after growler filled at Bruery and kept cool upon filling until reviewed.

Enjoyed at Clusterfork #7 in a snifter.
A: Opaque pinkish red with a big pinkish white head. Great color.
S: Aromatic raspberry purée with a sugary sweetness. A light tartness is evident. The fruit smells nice but there's not much else behind it.
T: Lightly sweet raspberry with just a touch of tartness. There's a little graininess, but it's mostly fruit. Finishes dry with a low acetic acidity and some raspberry lingering.
M: Medium body with low carbonation.
Overall: Enjoyable, but simple and mostly fruit. The acetic acidity seems to compound and bothers me after a while.

On-tap at The Bruery itself,
A: Pours a gorgeous pink red, almost Kool-Aid like, punch. But it's cool to see this kind of colour in a beer. Looks a bit like a cosmo. Limited fizzy head.
S: Nice raspberry fruit, hint of lemon and acid.
T: It's raspberries. It's a simple flavour, raspberries and acid, but it certainly works. Delicious flavour, not Raspberry Tart, but very enjoyable.
M: Light-bodied, crisp and very easy drinking. A summertime fruit beer that's enjoyable, clean and true to the fruit.
O: I really enjoyed this; the raspberries are natural, nothing artificial here. Not complex at all, just a tasty drink and there's nothing wrong with that.
