Had as part of the Bruery Classic Flight. This review is from notes and will be brief.
A: very pale.
S: STRONG hoppy, sort of acrid smell, fruitiness behind it.
T: Very hoppy, with a fruity finish.
M: Average. Light and smooth.
O: Not my favorite kind of beer. But not bad overall.

On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.
Pours a murky orange with an off-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is fantastic with citrus fruit, citrus zest, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is exactly the same and the flavors are very fresh and delicious. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an amazing hoppy saison with great aromas and flavors. I am not sure why this one is rated so low.

golden amber color with a huge, towering head of white that refused to part ways no matter what you did. Really just superb looking with tons of lacing down the sides of the glass and a rich and proper looking appearence. Nice elements of light clove, peach, hints of grain and fresh grasses and a nice little spicey punch to it. Warming brings out the wonderful light tart notes through the air that carry over so well into the flavor.

A - Pours golden into a pint glass. Thick white foam top. Visible carbonation. Calrity is pristine. Impressive!
S - Smell is of bread, slightly acrid.
not much else.
T - Taste is nice, but honestly felt more like a german pilsner than a saison. The flavors of grain are noticable, and this beer tastes very fresh and refreshing.
M - Crisp, carbonation was heavy; felt like a ginger ale. Smooth creamy feel. Very enjoyable with food. Fellls light even with the carbonation being what it was.
O- And odd beer. I don't think it was true to the saison style, yet it was a very enjoyable beer. May need to try again, and will review a second time if I need to. Worth trying for lovers of farmhouse beers or pilsners.

App- A very very clear yellow with a 1-1/2" head. This falls to a good pond layer of head. A good bit lace and cling.
Smell- A buttery lemon with some white pepper. A good soft touch on the nose.
Taste- A light grain bill flavor. Lemon and pepper continue but for as clear as it is, its a bit thick flavored for a saion and a little bitter.
Mouth- A light/medium body with a fairly high carbonation. A little too grainy (yes I get the name)
Drink- It's not as good as I remember. A bit all over the place with flavor, App and aroma are best things.

I like this Saison. I had it as part of my flight at the Bruery. Nice golden color and a moderate amount of carbonation with a good "farmhouse" aroma and flavor. Nice erathy undertones. Crisp with a slight pepperiness that I really enjoyed!
