750ml poured into duvel tulip.
pours golden with the hugest head of any beer ive ever poured. borderline ridiculous. the head looks creamy
belgian yeast smell with some citrus. earthy smell creeps up
hmm pretty interesting. like some kind of mash up but it actually works pretty well. textbook belgian flavor with a side of hops. this is completely well balanced.
more carbonated than most BSPAs but it works. works pretty damn well
Gonna give this place a visit soon

look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5
Appearance: 1 inch head, hazy, light yellow in color, moderate carbonation
Smell: funk, grass, and big grapefruit
Taste: grapefruit mixed with some Belgian spices and light grass
Mouthfeel: bitter start that gets slightly more bitter as throughout, light bodied with medium carbonation
Overall: Grapefruit juice is the star of this BSPA. If you like that flavor, you should love Mischief. While I like it, I am not in love with it, so I am good with just one glass.

750 ml bottle, with no apparent bottled on date present. My first beer from The Bruery, going in as unbiased as possible. For lack of a tulip or a snifter, I'm pouring this into my Firestone Walker pint glass.
A - Semi-aggressive pour yields about four fingers of towering frothy white foamy head with excellent retention. The head hangs out pretty much the entire time. Leaves giant white sheets of lacing on the glass. Cloudy, murky, lemon colored body.
S - Smell is of fruity Belgian yeast and malts. Pineapple, lemon, light hops, some earthiness and some grassy qualities. Slightly underwhelming aroma, I had higher expectations.
T - Taste is sweet, fruity, and tart. Some earthy grassy hops, slight bit of funky yeast, and bready biscuit malts. Juicy tart pineapples comes through the strongest for me.
M - Feel ends dry, with a hint of tartness hanging on. Body is crisp and light.
Overall, it is a smooth, clean, and palatable beer, but just doesn't bring very much action to the table in my opinion. I'm enjoying the fruitiness and the hops, and while I'm not a big fan of Belgian style beers to begin with, this beer is highly drinkable. Not a beer I will try again, but I'm glad to have tried it.
The Bruery Mischief ---4/5.

Looks brilliant with a cloudy golden hue. Has an eggshell white head that is fluffy yet dense.
Smells of a touch of Belgian yeast with some floral hay and a soft banana/pear quality. Touch of citric/piney hops.
Tastes of the piney grapefruit is mixed with some banana and pear with that fresh cut hay note. Hops make it bite while the clove/pear/banana smooths out the finish. Belgian yeast is very apparent. There is a touch of an alcohol note towards the end. Aftertaste is a creamy malt with that hop touch hanging around.
Mouthfeel is fairly carbonated yet creamy enough to denote its not a session Belgian pale.
Overall, a good example of Hopped up Belgian pale ales. The alcohol note was a bit of a distraction for me. One to try.

lacking a bit in the aroma but you get some mild pils and yeast aroma.
initial taste is a mirage of fruits but most notably pear followed buy a good blend of earthy/spicy hops that perform there duty by balancing out the fruity taste and esters given off by the yeast. the beer does give off a little bit of alcohol warmth as well. the beer finishes dry but has a medium mouthfeel that is rather creamy. very enjoyable.
